Quick question... why does 'piano' not exist as an option, other than 'other'. I would argue that its one of the most popular starting instruments, or is it just me.
I took 10 years of piano lessons. Started when I was 4. I also was in choir all the way through high school and took private voice lessons as an adult.
currently saving up to buy a piano accordion (after my next tattoo)
I've only been playing two: Cello and saxophone. I began with the Cello for about a year, then switched to the sax, which I only used for a few months.
I have played a lot of instruments over the years. I've spent some amount of time learning the piano, the violin, the recorder, the flute, the guitar, the clarinet, and the piccolo. I played the flute and pic for quite a few years and still keep my pic with me.
Played violin for 2 years, then stopped due to school using up a lot of my time. Now I can't for my life read sheet music, and I really don't know how to even hold a violin. I was using a rental though.
I used to play the guitar, but gave up on it years ago. I've been meaning to pick it back up, the last couple years, and want to give the harmonica a whirl, too.
Deep-down, though, I've always wanted to be a drummer. Which is never going to happen, because I'm terrible at it.
