Hate.

The world will end soon, and it's all because of hate. Everyone hates each other.
I beg to differ *Abolished uses hug on Goldeneye 103X2, it's super effictive*

Love is weak. Over seventy five percent of people who say they love enough to commit for a lifetime wind up losing that bet.

Hate persists.
Even the hate that is taught as a child persists through life. Hate can continue through generations. Love cannot.

Despite how positive and huggy I am I'd have to say hate. Seriously, take a look at Hitler and what he did with hate.

Short History lesson:
Germany loses WWI, gets forced to sign a treaty that prohibits Germany from making guns and forces them to pay the countries back.

Germany realises that shit has gotten serious and starts printing out more and more money in order to pay back the allies.

Germany's economy destabilizes and people need a wheelbarrow of money to buy bread.

Hitler (Who served in the war)rages hard at how he believes the other countries have treated Germany unfairly.

Hitler rises through political power (Legally funnily enough) and manages to become the dictator of a formerly democratic Germany.

Bam WWII, concentration camps and mass genocide.

My vote is Hate, big time.

Difficult question. Both are probably the strongest emotions we have. They're both strong, in different ways, for different purposes. Love helps us make and take care of babies. Hate serves to protect us from our enemies by making us hostile to them.

Yeah, Right. I take it you're still holding grudges to and plotting the downfall of the big kids who bullied you in elementary school, then?

Hate -seems- stronger because so many people hate so much. Love is far less shown from people hence it appears weaker. Love however is the only true thing worth fighting for in this world so full of hate, pain and suffering. The strength of each however might be quite similar, as they're sort of the opposite sides of the same coin.

Plus "scientists" have "proven" that the chemical that causes love fades after only a couple years.
Maybe so, but I'd say people who stay together and enjoy each others company more than anyone else even after the initial lovey-dovey, butterfly stuff has passed is people who really do love each other. People who marry at age 17-20 or mere months or a year after getting together will likely fail due to said chemical fading and thus will go down and out due to impatience.
Moral of that particular paragraph: Wait for the initial feelings of being in love to pass before you even think of marrying!

Love is allot more powerfull.

What you people think is "fleating" or "fickle" is not true love at all. Just a weaker emotion people confuse for love.
This.

Love - true love - is unbreakable.

And love does feed off itself.

If you love someone (You onry want to kirr dem - cookie for reference), you get it back 10 times as much.

If you hate someone, you get the same amount back, and it only ends up hurting one or both of you.

Love is without a doubt the more powerful.

Theres only one way to find out... FIGHT (sorry couldn't resist a Harry Hill TV Burp reference)

I'd say Love, mainly cause I'm kind of sentimental that way and also I've been personally driven more strongly by love than hate in my life.

Anyway love can lead to hate but hate can't really lead to love.

If you truly love someone, you'll love them forever. Even if you end up disliking or even hating this person that love that you feel will never really disappear.

People who said hate.....stop being emo NOW!

Love requires work and effort. You need to be strong to spend your life with someone. Love drives people to wars, love also causes jealousy which in turn causes hate. Without love there is no hate.

Hate is just hate, it requires no effort no work nothing except anger.

You can kill for either, but very few people would die for hate, while some would die for love, so I suppose love would be the stronger of the two.

Though frankly they're both a waste of time - love especially.
You will all die alone.
Unloved.

I'd suggest you keep away from women,or have children.

I'd say love and hate a equally strong, but in different ways.

I'd die for the people I love, but I would not risk dying to get people I hate.

both love and hate are subjective concepts and not independent forces.

plenty of people die for hate, though. captain ahab, suicide bombers, people who get heart attacks from apoplectic rage...

though now that i think about it, it's not like there's that many opportunities to die for love anymore.

Thanks for the pep-talk, Max. :D
Are you free for next week? We're scheduling the kindergartners and we like it if you could make a guest appearance.

Anywho: I'm siding with love. For the aforementioned reasons.
