You can kill for either, but very few people would die for hate, while some would die for love, so I suppose love would be the stronger of the two.

Though frankly they're both a waste of time - love especially.
You will all die alone.
Unloved.
QFT. You will die alone.

Hate is stronger because hate has caused world wars. Love not so much bloodshed. And love is a fickle thing, hate feeds off itself and becomes more powerful. Just look at max.

Love is powerful! Or so I'd like to believe... but, the thing is, it isn't that love isn't powerful, its just that too few people have it. If there were more people in the world with love, we wouldn't have wars, and violence, and bad things... we just have to wait, and love will come in due course.

I neither have exprienced true hatred or true love, so hell if I know.

If you want to want to by popular opinion, it would be (probably) love. How many movies, anime, comics, or video games have featured love as the greatest power in the world as opposed to hatred?

Love is allot more powerfull.

What you people think is "fleating" or "fickle" is not true love at all. Just a weaker emotion people confuse for love.

Well, if I were Bono, I'd probably say love...

But then again, my furious distaste for Bono contains enough rage to power a thousand suns.

So I'd have to go with hate.

Love conquers all. Hatred is easier to fall into, whereas Love takes someone to be strong and show it. Love wins.

Hate and Love are both about as strong in me.

I harbor a general love for the world

I also harbor and intense hatred for those who would make this world a worse place.

Obviously hate, most of the time love is just a temporary feeling that you declare to have in order to please your partner, but at any given time something may happen and you will feel hate towards her/him. Besides EVERYONE goes through their life hating others but only a few will actually truly love.

In all honesty, hate keeps a person alive, it gives him/her strength, whereas love weakens. When you grow to hate something or someone you gain strength in order to make that person or thing miserable, but if you grow to love someone it only weakens you and makes you fragile up to the point where you are left broken and devastated when that love ends.

Hate. Love can die so easily, but hate burns deeply within you for a long time and never truly goes away.

Hell, the strongest, deepest hatreds are born out of love.

They're equal, aren't they? Love can create and protect life, hatred can ruin and destroy it. Granted, I'll take love myself, but as far as power goes, they're pretty much equal the way I see it.

Hate. People naturally are distrustful hate filled xenophobic assholes. Or as Dr Cox put it "People are bastard coated bastards with bastard filling." so even if you love some one you are far more likely to become paranoid or end up hating them after a while. Then once you hate someone it is very hard to stop.
So hatred is far more powerful than love. Plus "scientists" have "proven" that the chemical that causes love fades after only a couple years. Hatred never fades.
This and a cookie for the awesome scrubs quoute.

By any chance is your favourite character Flonne from Disgaea?
OT: Hate because hate is easy to create and harder to destroy
