I just watch when they play Spaced or The Young Ones. Which is very, very rare.

A regard it as a station that shows dr who?
This, too.
I listen to their old radio station recordings.
Me and my towel love these recordings.
As a non-UK (and US) man m'self, the only thing I know them for is that they recorded Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, and I've been listening to it for a few weeks, every day a bit, and I absolutely love it.
I love that series so much.
It amuses me to think that some of the book fans don't even know about it though.

Actually, we aren't stupid.
I think everyone at this website can safely agree that Faux news (GET IT?! HA HA HA HA) is mainly for the unwashed and brain dead masses.

I'm in the uk and get my news from cnn, it's just easy to type cnn in the address bar and find an interesting headline, also they usually cover things relating to space shuttle launches... not everyone does.

BBC to me has Top Gear and F1, that's it, they lost the F1 licence for awhile then all they had was Top Gear :S
I don't like any other BBC programs and often miss the news by constantly shouting at the anoyingly british presenters.

To me the BBC is the network that shows every single British show to ever be broadcasted in America everything from kids shows to adult dramas are broadcast on BBC as long as they're British it seems.

It get my news from the internet mostly, for instance I have Yahoo's feed as my home page so as soon as I log in I see what the most read stories are sometimes they're stupid, like I really don't care that "Miley Cyrus was a fashion diaster" its actually weird to see that printed next to "Bombing kills ten at airport"

There are really only 3 News TV programs worth caring about: Sky News, Channel 4 and BBC. Sky News is not so much concerned with actual journalism and news, more about having 'BREAKING NEWS!', regardless of importance, and advertising. Channel 4 contains a lot of newsworthy content but they usually concentrate on things that are contraversial and have anti-Govt slant which spoils some journalism The BBC has a very slight Pro-Govt bias, most evident perhaps over the crisis of the Palestinian charity appeal, but apart from that it has the best news service in Britain.

If they were newspapers, Sky News would be the Sun, Channel 4 the Daily Mail and the BBC the Guardian.

I'm British and I love the BBC. The website is well done with all the important stories incredibly easy to find and between the BBC Sport site and MoTD, I never feel the need to look elsewhere for sports news. They have several great shows (see Top Gear, Merlin, Nevermind the Buzzcocks, Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo, QI and Have I Got News For You) coupled with a fairly impressive back catalogue (Blackadder and probably most of the other old British comedies known throughout the rest of the world). They offer enough radio shows to ensure there's always something for you to listen to on your drives, no matter your taste.

So please: Where are you from, and how do you regard the BBC?
Heard of it, never seen it, because, you know, here in America we don't watch British news. I gave up on the news. Most of the time it is always stupid or depressing. Used to read the news on Yahoo, but then the front page started to be some bullshit about "cute" videos on youtube.

The BBC is, well, as bad as all media sources. All of them give false info, all of them exaggerate... I don't think they're any worse than any other place.

Although, to be honest, I get my news from the Guardian (I'm in the UK, btw).
I agree with this guy here.

Media on TV = Goverment Employed 98% of the time

I go to the internet to get my news - if to get it at all.
