Well out of 132 people, I am 1 of 22 guys. I'm in my final year at uni studying to be a vet.

mechanical engineering, so its about 2 in a class of 120

the common joke is that in engineering classes ppl assume there are no girls, because its hard to tell the difference

About 10 guys to 20 girls, I'd reckon. It's a kind of last-resort course [Applied Biosciences], so one would assume the ratio of males would be higher what with our propensity for lower grades..

About 99% female and then me...I'm a nursing student. It's cool sometimes (lots of beautiful women around you is kinds cool) but there are days when the estrogen levels are so high I want to scream...(but not a girly scream)

Last time I went to school we didn't really have classes, just work groups that change every quarter-year. Last one I had had...oh dear...3 guys and 5 girls I think.

As for back when I was still in a proper class, I can't for the life of me remember. I barely remember anything concrete from high school anyway. I would've felt sorry for them if they weren't.

Back when I did a Bio-Informatics course there were 2 girls and 31 guys. Luckily the girls were just (well one at least) as geeky, immature and mad as all of us guys.

Yeah, I go to an all-boys school...

I go to an all girls' school. The only guys in our class are the teachers. And we usually get one teacher per class. So it's usually around 25:1, unless the teacher is also female.
It still amazes me that such schools exist. What is this, the 19th century?

I'd say 60% girls In most of my classes, 40% guys. But in my business and philosophy courses 90% guys ...

Psych and history courses 80% girls.

That being said the smartest person I met in business and economics courses was a pretty girl from Guangzhou ^_^

There are still heaps in Australia. At least in my state. It's a pretty common debate - single-sex schools vs. co-ed schools. Not sure which I prefer. I guess there are less distractions, but I don't think we should wait until uni to learn about the opposite sex.

Poll is totally screwed up like you said, so I'll just say it:

In each of my classes there are (out of about 12 - 18 people):
2 girls
1 girl
1 girl
1 girl
0 girls

You're doing the same A-Levels as me :D And yeah, that's what I found - although my F.Maths class actually had 2 girls 3 guys, which was quite a nice mix. I just like having girls around because it adds to the dynamic somewhat - guy/girl groups are much more fun than single gender ones.

Exactly 3:0. There's also another subject I'm taking on my own since everyone else quit it.

In most of my classes it has always been more girls than guys, can't really determine the ratio, but it has always been close to 2:1.
