1. EA - They're just a HORRIBLE company. The stuff they make doesn't run properly, they don't bother to fix it, they're assholes to customers, they charge stupid amounts of money for no reason, they've sworn off the whole concept of new IPs, they've sworn off the concept of single-player games, they try and force you to install malware just to play a game you paid for, their games have been almost mediocre or crappy for a looooonnnggg looooooonnnnnggg time now...
2. Activision - They're hyper-greedy money whores. They'll mindlessly run all manner of franchises into the dirt in an effort to squeeze every last penny out of an IP without any notion of quality. They also act like assholes.
Still not as bad as EA tho.
3. Zynga - Fucking USELESS. All they do is blatantly rip off anyone and everyone and sucker people who don't know better into giving them money for useless shit in free games.
Their company is rapidly falling apart though, last I checked, so HA!

Capcom doesn't even begin to rate among the "worst" companies. Capcom has just made some dumb decisions recently (mostly/ESPECIALLY regarding Megaman), and they simply "not generous" with their DLC, which is annoying. But, Capcom tends to be pretty good about releasing games that are GOOD, so it's possible that the Megaman games were axed because they weren't deemed to be good enough.
And Megaman is basically Capcom's mascot, so I could understand a hesitation to mess up Megaman with a less than solid release.
Capcom has said they still have some big stuff in store for Megaman in the near future, so it's not that they're just ignoring Megaman specifically.
As far as DLC is concerned, I'm not sure why people think they're especially bad in that regard... It's totally optional. They set a price, you choose to pay it or not. If it was already on the disc...so what? They could've just as easily NOT put it on the disc and made you DL it instead of unlocking it, and you'd've gained exactly NOTHING, except maybe a longer install time.
*shrug*
Whoever said Valve is just....wrong. Valve just hands out free and ultra-cheap stuff like crazy. They're probably the most customer friendly and benevolent major game company...ever.
Saying the fact that you can only get it through Steam is a bad thing...makes no sense. That's like being annoyed that the only place you can get a BigMac is at MacDonald's...
Steam's patch and update support is PART of Valve's games.
Hell, if you DIDN'T have Steam, you'd not get the insanely huge chunks of free bonus content they always add into their games for years after release. You know how we know? Because you can get Valve games on XBOX and PS3, and they're completely shafted by being separated from Steam support.
