Poll: What is usually found in your Escapist inbox?

I have sat lurking for many months, so it's been nothing for a very long time. Now I'm out of the lurking shadows, it's now just chat notifications. I rarely get quoted, though it makes me panic a little when I am. It used to be badges, I got quite hooked on getting as many as I could.

Daystar just sends me dick pics all the time. It's kind of annoying really. I mean, after the first one I kind of already know what it looks like. Then again, sometimes he gets creative and makes it festive. Wish I could share the Christmas-themed one he sent last year.

Well, usually just quote notifications. I occasionally PM people, but most the people I talk to around here I can reach on more easily accessible channels, anyway. I turn off group chat notifications unless it's a quote. Even then, sometimes I turn them off. Some of the more active groups will clog the fuck out of your notification queue.

If I've said something a group recently, then it's usually a group notification. Otherwise, it's most likely to be a quote. It's common for me post in the first few posts of a thread, so I tend to get a lot of quotes from those, I woke up to three today.

For a while I was only posting in threads about topics like EA or Blizzard/WoW, so many of my quotes from recent months have either been someone disagreeing when I said that the reason they were whining wasn't really defensible or when I suggested that they were being melodramatic/paranoid/spiteful.

This sounds dangerously close to bragging about my clearly superior and infinitely more level head (which sadly remains hypothetical), so I'll freely admit that most of my posts were whining preemptively about unnecessary negativity like a wee babby.

The last couple weeks have been people agreeing when I get excited about something that interests me, so that's nice.
