I understand it when used in context with the newer games, and knowing the things that are changed in translation from Japanese. I understand it quite well, really.

Also, why put "P.P.S. la-li-lu-le-lo or whatever, you don't have to give your opinion. It's already obvious. But you can if you want to."? It cancels itself out at the end... it doesnt give us any new information, it just seems like an attack on "La-Le" and then saying "but you can if you want to" makes me think you wanted to get away with it scott-free. You should just get rid of it, it only cancels itself out.

It's good, but they spend way too much time to explain something simple like "You have to go in there and kill some shit to get blood for raiden" taking 3 hours

I actually set myself the task of explaining to my Aunt the MGS storyline, she thought it was bat shit insane storyline, but she loved the concept of some of the characters, I think that pretty much sums it up, to an outsider that has never played a game let alone an MGS game thats how they feel about it.

Eh, MGS2 I actually understood some parts more so than MGS4. So, Raiden's life was a fake. Easy.
MGS4. Lolwut? Had to play through it a few more times to understand. But, I'm still confused how Raiden could hold a ship back from crushing Old Snake... but, I'm sure the answer involved a long codec call lesson on nanomachines.
I loved the game, but some parts I found were unnecessary, like the Naomi x Hal thing.
I liked how they explained how Vamp kept coming back (because of my confusion in MGS2.)
I also liked how Akiba was in every single MGS (not counting MGS3 since that's just a relative.)
But my fanboyism for the series is spewing out. I'll end my post here and move along...
