Poll: What is your Primary Game Platform? (63% say PC, apparently, huh, who knew.)

PC master race is in the lead. Makes sense, I suppose.

OT: PS3 is good enough for me. Many good franchises I grew up with are getting ported over and there are plenty of new exclusive IPs to keep me interested.

If I had a lot of money, I would go with a PC. But for now, I'm happy where I'm at.

You need an other option for everything you left out (such as older consoles). I still play my PS2 more than anything else this gen. *waves cane in the air* Back in the day when we had good games and it all wasn't about those realistic graphics and your online multiplayer and your wireless controllers and your DLC and your commiggets!

The 360 for my general shooters, RPG'S and Racing games...

The i have my DS for my Pokemons

And my Laptop for the RTS genre...and KOTOR

But i'm mainly on the good ol' 360

I just generally like the system more, can't really explain why. Might be the controller - I grew up on it.

I hardly ever play my 360 anymore, but the amount of good games I bought for it is still substantial enough for me to keep it. Plus, there's Mass Effect 3.

I mean I hate to be a HD elitist (which I am), but Netflix on a Wii? Why? It must look pretty dog rough in SD through the Wii.

And I play on 360 mainly due to ease of use, though I own and play on Wii, PS3, PC and iPhone.

Seems like Escapist is dominated by PC gamers. Or at least, the PC gamers on the Escapist are more likely to check threads like this to flex their elitist high brows.

PC, then Wii. (Currently enjoying Skyward Sword.)

Also have an Android phone, and a DS and PS2 that get some love on occasion.

I'm not going to count all the old consoles that are basically just collectibles at this point.

Last year I would've said Xbox, but now I've got a kickass computer, so it's more 50/50 between my PC and my Xbox.

Some games just work better on some platforms.

For instance, I buy my Mass Effect games for my Xbox, but I have a copy of Kotor 1 and 2 for my computer, and I'm waiting in anticipation for The Old Republic. Also, the Stalker games are pretty much the reason why I bought a gaming computer in the first place.

Well, lets start from my childhood; my first console (that I would have considered my primary gaming device) was the PS1. Then came the gameboy color, Gameboy Advance, and then finally, the best console of all time, the PS2. But as the next generation of consoles pushed and shoved its way in, I finally gave in and got a ps3. But, now thanks to steam, (and hopefully an upcoming graphics card for christmas,) the PC is my main console (tho I still go back to the PS3 for a lot of games)

Well, it changes. If I got a lot of awesome game for the x-box, I will be playing that mainly for a while. Same for everything else. I don't really have one "primary" console.
