Back in the day, I had no problem hacking and slashing stuff in Zelda, then jumping on the PC and blasting things in Jedi Knight. They were two different worlds and I loved them both.

And to be honest? All the gaming consoles nowadays are basically cut-down PC's made to set specifications at the core and with a specialised OS to make it seem and act unique compared to the other consoles and computers out there.Technous285 said:Cant... help... A PC can (or at least SHOULD) run Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Unix, BSD, or any other OS you can think of.
Lol you can be as pretentious as you like, as long as you've voted. If not, vote, then be pretentious so I can get your input without having to read your hipstering.ElNeroDiablo said:To quote myself from over on Steam Forums;Mordekaien said:Mac, so I went with the PC![]()

It's just branding and advertisements try to trick us into believing there's some magical difference between the computer on your desk and the computer you hooked up to your TV, and it actually works...
Oh, what did I vote for? PC.
ElNeroDiablo said:You think THAT is "hipstering", then you oughta hang around places like TechRepublic (an IT site and forum) more often.
From a technological standpoint, everything I said is true, the only difference between a computer on your desk and one hooked to your TV is how they are built and advertised.
Woah, a living, breathing, active RuneScape player, I didn't know you guys were still around.Tourmeta said:PS3 until I'm bored and log in to Runescape to sit in a bank and refresh google reader all day.
aww ninja. I was going to say pretty much the exact same thing.Deviate said:Mobile doesn't translate to iPhone or Android systems. PSPs and 3DS are mobile gaming systems. Just another word for handheld.VanQQisH said:I've spent more time on the PC than any other console, but my current primary platforms are handheld systems such as the PSP and 3DS. I'm extremely disappointed that they aren't an option.
And before you say "mobile" is up there, no. No, I do not play games on nor do I own an iPhone. I have better things to spend money on than that overpriced junk (minimum of $70 a month where I live).
yeah..the singularity took overCardinalPiggles said:Woah, a living, breathing, active RuneScape player, I didn't know you guys were still around.Tourmeta said:PS3 until I'm bored and log in to Runescape to sit in a bank and refresh google reader all day.
