PS3. Got a new laptop a year ago come the 25th, but it isn't powerful enough for newer games. Only bought it for Valve games, so not a big deal.

None. I don't favor any particular platform.

I frequently alternate with every platform I own, all of which I have hooked up simultaneously (or at least as close to hooked up as I can get, as I don't have a dozen different inputs to plug into at once) and the version I buy of any game varies drastically on a per game basis.

I wish I could say it was a console that I play (the mention of the SNES made me remember how I used to play console games back in the day), but I'm so strictly a PC gamer now, it seems impossible to even pick up a console controller. Back in the day, I had no problem hacking and slashing stuff in Zelda, then jumping on the PC and blasting things in Jedi Knight. They were two different worlds and I loved them both.

I'm with you. I now have absolutely no idea how to hold an N64 controller after not touching one for nine years.

Cant... help... Self... *cough* PC means 'Personal Computer', not Windows! Technically speaking a Mac is a PC, a laptop is a PC, even your PDA is a PC. A PC can (or at least SHOULD) run Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Unix, BSD, or any other OS you can think of.
And to be honest? All the gaming consoles nowadays are basically cut-down PC's made to set specifications at the core and with a specialised OS to make it seem and act unique compared to the other consoles and computers out there.
It's just branding and advertisements try to trick us into believing there's some magical difference between the computer on your desk and the computer you hooked up to your TV, and it actually works...

Oh, what did I vote for? PC.

Lol you can be as pretentious as you like, as long as you've voted. If not, vote, then be pretentious so I can get your input without having to read your hipstering.

You think THAT is "hipstering", then you oughta hang around places like TechRepublic (an IT site and forum) more often. :p
From a technological standpoint, everything I said is true, the only difference between a computer on your desk and one hooked to your TV is how they are built and advertised.

You should try talking like that at toms hardware. By about the fifth account that gets banned in as many minutes, you'll realise that what you've said is so pointless it's not even worth discussing any more.

Oh look at that, I've concluded this with a win for everyone who doesn't give quite that much a damn about pedantic semantics.

Overall, of those, it'd be Wii, but currently I'm playing my PS3 more. That'll change once I bust out Skyward Sword though. I also would mention my (3)DS, but that wasn't an option.

Split. I dont have a high end pc, but whatever I can run on good ol' Catherine the laptop, I much prefer to play on there.

I use PS3 for more high-end releases, and for "spectator" games that are fun to play at parties (like Saints Row)

I've spent more time on the PC than any other console, but my current primary platforms are handheld systems such as the PSP and 3DS. I'm extremely disappointed that they aren't an option.
And before you say "mobile" is up there, no. No, I do not play games on nor do I own an iPhone. I have better things to spend money on than that overpriced junk (minimum of $70 a month where I live).

Wow, a perfect match of 63% at the moment. whaduyano.

I voted PC because I am veering that way right now, mainly because I have been playing through Oblivion again on PC this time, it just seems so much more special.

I have neglected Halo:CEA, Gears3, and Deus Ex:HR plus other unfinished games on my Xbox just for Oblivion on the PC. And when I upgrade my PC, I've still got The Witcher 2, Fallout:NV and Skyrim to get through, it's going to be a great fucking winter!

Mobile doesn't translate to iPhone or Android systems. PSPs and 3DS are mobile gaming systems. Just another word for handheld.
aww ninja. I was going to say pretty much the exact same thing.

I have nearly all my games for Xbox, but now that I have a pimpin' gaming PC I've played nothing on my ole' faithful in 3 weeks.
And I just got Borderlands GOTY from Steam for a fiver so I think PC is going to be getting a very equal share in my gaming time now.
I will continue to use my Xbox though, I just won't be buying many games for it in the coming, I don't know, half year, since I've got Skyrim to play through till I get bored, Borderlands likewise, and now I have Batman: Arkham City to get through too...
I'll get Bioshock Infinite next year on trusty Xbox, along with Saints Row 3, and for PC I'll get whatever tickles my fancy in the Steam sales.
