I actually did a guided meditation exercise years ago, the intention of which was to help find your spirit animal. At the end you were supposed to see your spirit animal emerge into a clearing in the woods, and I very clearly saw a wombat. It was awesome.

I don't believe in anything that would conventionally be called 'spiritual', but it was a remarkable experience.

I seem to have a way with snakes, if that's any indication they seem comfortable with me even wild ones. But I do bare the mark of the bear it's faded now though. So I'm not sure if it's the snake or the bear. It could also be the sloth, I'm so damn slow and lazy.

I'd like to say something like a tiger or an eagle but I know my spirit guide would be a bear. My friends had this conversation one night and there was much debate as to what animal would best represent them. When it was my turn to speak they shut me up and told me it would be a bear. I'm big, strong, lazy and terrifying when angry.

You forgot to include the bit where you tell us how the hell we work out what our spirit animal is.

But what if you pick an animal and you're wrong? When you die look out because that animal's spirit will have your ass.

There should be a specific way of working out what your spirit animal is. Someone find it and post it so this thread becomes an actual discussion rather than just a random Noah's Ark tour.

Well that's not the reason why i'm a seal, but i'm still a seal though i don't remeber why. seriously, evolution chucked a dog into the ocean and told it to "stay boy". So it did now it's a spaztick fish dog.
