This is a really hard question for me due to having really strong leanings to all the elements. Earth and Water because they are so practical, and Fire because its just badass and I can make it myself. Air is kinda boring though, but it would save me from falls I guess.

If I had to choose Id say fire, mostly because I could kick ass and take names with it!

Waterbender methinks, although, I can't give you any tangible reason as to why.

I've just always loved water-type Pokemon and GFs/summons/eidolons/aeons/I lost track of what the kids are calling them these days.

I think I'd go with fire. Though more the cold precision kind of way instead of raging "ME SMASH!".. the others simply don't fit my style.

Yeesh, rephrase the title before someone pokes fun at it.

I always thought I'd be an Earth Bender, because I like the Earth kingdom the best, but Waterbending would actually be awesome. The style is so much more fluid and calm, and I could be a healer too, which would just be awesome.

A tough descision between Terra and Ignis.

I chose earthbender, definately rogue from the kingdom, off in who-knows-where. Im pretty handy with fire, and i recenty... incapacitated... myself swinging my stone-and-two Matilda, so i figure earthbender would be best, and the things i can do. Two sticks, flint and flint, flint and fools gold, or a zippo, i figure i could get whatever raging inferno going i need, but its hard to make magesty alone with a sledgehammer.

Mostly, i figured earthbending also means metalbending. There are just some things a hammer cant do, because you need a big damn anvil to match a fat Brick with a 16 pound sledgehammer and a rapidly healing hernia. The rule for hand-hammers is fifty to one. Sledges would be two hundred.

Dont swing a sledge stupid.

Hitting stuff is fun.

Raid a junkyard and pay the expected price for the oh-so-ideal manganese and lead sources, use earth bending on scrap iron to make a box bellows, buy some coked coal, make a tank fueled on dreams, hate, and metalurgical superiourity.

Some people work at desks. Some people dont care. Wish there were some damn jobs.

Wish i could talk for hours

Definitely Earthbender, after seeing all the stuff Toph could do in the series i'm pretty much sold on Earthbender. She could bend metal for gods sakes.

Trying to decide between water on earth, both have their uses and are my two favourite elements. I'm going to say earthbending it just looks like a lot of fun to use.

Either Earth or water, because earth is always around you. And water because its the coolest.

Earth fits into a desire of strength, however I have to seriously consider water. Not for its root element, but for its evolved forms such as blood bending.

Why bother crushing, burning or..... uhhhh.... b...reezing your opponent when you can control the fluid in their body and control them via will.

Plus projectile ice shards, tidal waves and erosion have their place

Honestly anything else seems week in comparison.

Perhaps that is why they are featuring an waterbender for the next series

(before you point out its the next in succession, they could have skipped literally thousands in succession if they wanted to)

Screw all of them, make my own element, lightning (not that crap that Zuko's sister does, but actual lightning powers).

Earthbender.
No contest in my mind. I could make stuff easily.
The world would be my Minecraft domain.
Complete with explodey things running at you at night?

I'd go Water or Earth. Just not sure which.

This title confused me, I thought Bender from Futurama, then Avatar as in James Cameron's Avatar.

But Fire, because it's fuggin cool.

Huh I always liked the air bending the best to be honest and from this thread I appear to be the only one. I like the idea of never not having air and the fact that it allows you to move anywhere I can start running up walls jumping over buildings with the right tools I can simply fly. It also lets you get around very quickly and efficiantly without effecting anyone else like water or earth would. I also like that air is one of the best in a fight because you can keep moving the air away from the opponoent till they pass out or even just throw them far away.

Water bending for three reasons.

1) Most of the Earth's surface is covered in water
2)Healing use
3)Bend the water out of people and thus kill them.

So yer I good luck taking me down; world domination here I come.

Earth Bending. The practical uses are..... massive. And it really does have the edge over every other type of bending if you'd use your imagination. Armor against a Fire Bender rendering you invulnerable to them. You could bury a Water Bender under sand. Without a large amount of water they'd never be able to get out..... and well they'd suffocate in like a minute so ya. Air Benders you can just armor up and make it weighty so they can't blow you away. Encase their legs in stone and they're yours. Earth has the edge in my mind.
