Poll: What Kind of Chocolate do you Like?

I love all chocolate that is really chocolate. That-white-stuff-that-Americans-call-white-chocolate-but-isn't-really-chocolate-at-all is okay, but nothing I would ever choose to eat if real chocolate was available. I would however eat it if the only alternative was mockolate, like that stuff Mr. Donut coats their "chocolate" donuts in.

I don't like chocolate all that much, but when I do have it, I always go for dark chocolate. On occasion, if someone offers me white chocolate I will eat it, but I find milk chocolate too sweet. When I tell people that I don't really like chocolate, they always look at me as though I have sprouted antlers or something.

I like dark chocolate with anything between 70 and 80% cacao. When eaten with extra sharp cheddar, it becomes the greatest snack ever!

That sounds completely dreadful, but on the other hand intriguing. How would one go about consuming this unholy combination? Do you just place chocolate and cheddar on top of each other and go to town, or are there further logistics involved?

Milk then white then dark for me, for the record.

You just put them on top of each other. I thought it sounded terrible too, but one of my friends convinced me to try it. It was surprisingly delicious.

Edit: Actually, the version my friend gave me used milk chocolate. I came up with the idea of using dark myself. You'd probably like his version much better.

Milk is the only kind you can keep eating. Dark and White taste horrible after a few chunks.

I don't like chocolate at all, it is way too bitter and leaves a bad aftertaste in my mouth. I assume it is because I never really had it as a kid and I think it might be some sort of acquired taste from youth for most people, which I do not have.

my first thought was "but NO-ONE likes dark chocolate!" i'm pretty confident in this as it tastes like chocolate that's been dead for 3 weeks

I also take offense to that! Dark chocolate is great. I mean, milk chocolate is too, but dark chocolate is just richer, and goes with everything.

Regular milk chocolate >= dark chocolate >> white chocolate.
But I still like even white chocolate.

Milk chocolate is my favorite, white chocolate is also very tasty. Dark chocolate on the other hand... ugh, it doesn't taste good while you're eating it, and the aftertaste is terrible.
