Poll: What kind of gamer are you?

I was thinking there are different ways of playing games.

I myself am a "number cruncher" I like to play games and work out how maximize out stats or work my way around problems, one of my friend play a game through once and that's it.

Next friend plays game to get Trophy's (or awards you Xbox fiends)

Then there is the multi-player hounds.

Social gamer like WoW and other MMOs.

Party gamer like Quick and easy games to get in to (Rock band/most Wii games).

On the move gamer Use a PSP or DS more than anything else.

Than i only like Sport games guys,

please post if you are another type of gamer, and give a description, I would like to see how people are and there way they play

well out of those I suppose the "for the Trophies" or "Achievement whore" in Xbox language applies to me.

but I only whore for achievements if I like the game
If I don't think the game is fun I just won't continue to play it but if I like the game I'll go for the full 1000 G

the way I choose games is closer to "games are art hippy"
I believe that good storytelling and deep characters are the most important aspect of gaming

that's why I think that Enslaved is the best game this console generation
and why I think games like Gears of War and the new Call of Duty games suck a pile of dicks

Edit: I do love Rock Band but that is the only "Party game" I play

Play it once and done, with some number crunching involved.

Persona 3 is the only game where I completed 80%+ of the game, had my save corrupted, and went back to finish the game from the beginning. That's just how good it is.

For turn based strategies, I'm a number cruncher.

Going by your definitions, I could be the type that plays once and is done, plays to get trophys, plays for multiplayer, or plays party games depending on the situation I find myself in.

People who only play multiplayer, people who dont play the story, people who only complete the games story (games with lots of replayability) and never play them again, people who play only one game, people that give shit reasons for a game to be bad and fanboys/elitists and more...

I am mostly a "one and done" type of gamer. I usually don't replay games, I just move on to whatever is next. There are exceptions of course, but they do not pop up that often.

Play as much as I feel like. Then stop until I feel like it again.
No particular preference. No particular style. I could play through a game once and never touch it again, or I could play through it over and over.
In other words, the one who just plays.
