But he's awful at taking hints.
Apparently what counts as a hint to a man is not the same as what counts as a hint to a woman.
I invited him to come see It's a Wonderful Life with me at the old classic renovated theater around Christmas alone, if watching classic movies together in a beautiful romantic setting doesn't count as a "hint" idk what does.

But he also could be incredibly shy about it (it took him 2 years of hanging out regularly for him to begin talking to me frequently he was so shy)

I fall for the kind of guys like the guy I did fall for - completely nerdy and will talk with me about Pokemon in public; random and spontaneous, easygoing and quick to find enjoyment anywhere; big personality, big voice, big body; romantic when cute, vulgar when funny, and serious when need be... and able to put up with me. I've found me quite the man, and I'm very thankful for that.

Something far, far less subtle.

Three. There are three men I'd go gay for. One is a cartoon.

So, I guess the choice would be "other"?

It's a shame there's no "has ungodly amounts of amazing" option.

Gamer type. Only because I don't go out of my way to meet people- therefore it could only really be someone already in my crowd.
Oh, that and gamers are hot.
Also, what is this gender thing all the kids are talking about?

Since I want t play along, I guess I would say the sweet one... I think...

Oh, and if you want a good poll, you should probably not have put an option that says "I don't like guys." This thread is aimed at straight dudes, but it gives an option that makes the poll completely useless.

I'm a dude, but I'd go for the nerdy type, its my type in girls so it might as well be in boys too. Though I think I'd want him to have a beard...I can't grow a beard...I have brown hair, but my beard is ginger :-( Glasses too, not big bottle rims, but a nice sleek designer pair...

Oh, and he better buy me damn chocolates shaped like our favourite comic book and game characters!

A sensitive and cute variation of the gamer. Game together, tell jokes to one another. It could be fun.

I'm straight, and I'd even marry him. Is he available?
According to his Wikipedia page, yes.
Well then excuse me while I get a wedding ring and a white dress.......
You touch my future husband, and you die.
[sub]FYI: Straight male here too, and even I swoon for David Tennant.[/sub]

OT: As a straight guy, I fell slightly unwelcome in this thread, but oh well, I'm posting anyway:
If I were to fall for a guy, I'd have to say that David Tennant fits all my criteria for my perfect man...

I'm acutally really trying here, and I'm drawing a blank on anything other than David Tennant actually...

By the way, did I mention I am totally not gay at all? [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HaveIMentionedIAmHeterosexualToday]

Well, I'd like a man who isn't a big hunk of testosterone, so a cute, semi-romantic, kind of nerdy guy.

Oh, by the way, I'm bi, so yes I can post here dammit!

Anyone that understands me is alright in my book. The boy I'm involved with right now is a gamer guy, but he's really nice and understanding to me. Although he pokes fun at me, he knows not to go too far. :)

I like my men on the nerdy side, video-games included. I guess that would mean more on the sweet side though. : )

I'm a sucker for romance, so probably the first. Otherwise I'd date someone that isn't a jerk, is funny, and watches House every week.
And House. I don't care if he's a dick, I'd nail him.

I voted the last option, being male and all. But I see that not everyone sees that as an obstacle *tries to avoid showing his homophobia*...

The sweet, although not some small androgynous boy-"cutie".
More of a stoic thoughtful man. Kind of like Perrin Aybara in Wheel of Time, for those of you who have read it.

Since you have caught my attention ill play along.
Nerdy/gamer kinda guy. Would have to be sorta feminine. But there is an exception. Stephen fry or harrison ford.
