Windows 7 64-bit and a Linux Distro 64-bit(Not one kind, switches between them).
I use Windows 7 because it works pretty well and a lot of applications works on Windows plus it came with my laptop.
I also use Linux(Dual boot) because I think it´s a very good OS. The only problem is that some applications is a bit unreliable and you sometime have to tweak around to get things work but that can also be a lot of fun.

From when XP was released in 2001 to when Vista was released in 2007 and loyal mac user would have spent $516 on new operating systems at $129 each (as mac's don't get an "upgrade" discount, they have to buy the new software fresh each year)
Over the same period the steadfast Windows user would have spent a paltry $219 - had they waited for the Vista price cut - for an upgrade to Windows Vista Ultimate - less than half what Mac users spent.

Vista came pre-loaded on my laptop, I couldn't stand how sluggish it was so I've been using Windows 7 since RC1. It's fantastic.
Only problem I had was since Dell don't support 64-bit OS's on my laptop it took me longer than usual to find drivers.
But I've had nary a problem with Windows 7, something I can't say about any other Windows OS.

XP because I don't have a computer good enough to run anything else. I might upgrade to Windows 7 when I get a new laptop but I doubt it. I've used XP for most of my computer life now, It's just what I'm accustomed to.
XP, because most of my computer-using life was spent on an XP system (I had 98 back in the day, but I didn't know how to, say, run MSConfig, or even open explorer), and I don't want to have to learn an entirely new operating system. Vista and 7 aren't bad, but I heard they did make some arbitrary changes.
I use windows XP on my desktop, I've had it for about 4 years now and it seems to be able to run Dawn of War 2 Chaos Rising just fine. I guess I'm just a bit lazy and probably won't change to something else anytime soon as this lets me do everything that I want a computer to do.
