I have a dual-booted Macbook pro. I actually prefer OS X over Windows 7, but my love of games outweighs that pretty heavily.

I use two different operating systems. My laptop is installed with Ubuntu Linux and my desktop is installed with windows XP. My desktop is mainly used for gaming while I use my laptop for everything else.

Windows 7 FTW. :D I like it the best, I thought XP was the best until I was blessed with 7. :D
2000 was better than XP. It was the almost identical except it wasn't dumbed down for retards. Seriously, try it and you'll be amazed that you ever bothered with xp.

I use ubuntu primarily my desktop, and windows 7 on my laptop/other partition of the desktop.

Windows Vista and it honestly hasn't been that bad, I don't understand all the bitching about it.

Windows 7.
Only problem I've had with it is that KOTOR started wigging out on me recently.
Then again that game wigged out on me on my old Windows XP machine.
That game must hate me though, since it runs fine up until I'm 25-30 hours deep.
I've spent over 60 hours on that game and have yet to see the end of the goddamn leviathan level...

...I'm sorry, what was this thread about again?

Windows Vista Home Premium, the 32-bit version. I desperately want my XP back so I can play older games without wanting to tear my eyes out through my scalp. Or Windows 7, except I don't really want to upgrade. Oh well, it works fine. I just had to tweak it a bit to suit my needs.

I use and love my Mac laptop, although I also use my Linux desktop. Why so few Mac users? =[
It's because Mac is generally frowned upon in the gaming community. The only computer game for it is WoW and Starcraft, really. Most of the other games are usually published and/or distributed by Microsoft... so that might explain a few things.
But isn't Steam for Mac is starting to change that?

Why not Macs? When my dad was in college, he used a Mac for a project. 6 hours of work in, saving periodically, here was a black out. The Mac deleted his work.
Let me guess: It was like, "Beep beep beep beep beep beep beep!" [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GxC4kKD9qA]

Currently, my desktop is Win7 for games/media center stuff, because anything else I need a lot of CPU power for generally doesn't mind too much what OS I'm using. Laptop's OS X, because it would drive me absolutely insane for my daily use computer to not have a fully functional Unix layer/command line (Cygwin is so, so far from that it's not even funny), and it's still a pain to find a laptop I like that also is fully supported by Linux. Linux for servers I use, because really, what else would I use for that? BSD, I guess, but I'm not as familiar with it.
