Poll: What Pokemon Will You Start With for HGold and SSilver?

Well since me and my two friends made a pact to get and play the games for nostalgia sake I've been stuck with Chikorita. They already called Cyndaquil and Totodile respectively. Could be interesting though... I never really started with Chikorita before. Seems to be the most challenging to play out of the three.

Edit: Just thought I'd mention... All of you in the UK who have to wait until the 26th, suck on it. I'm getting mine on Saturday. Yay for my local small time video game store importing everything :3

But I'll trade for the other starters/Larvitar once I get to Goldenrod. Then it will be fucking awesome.

I do hope they'll add more to Kanto though. It seemed like a cheap add-on in GSC.

Doesn't this take place in Johto (or however it's spelled) though?

It does, but after you defeat the Elite Four, you get to go back to Kanto and defeat all the gym leaders there too.

It does, but after you defeat the Elite Four, you get to go back to Kanto and defeat all the gym leaders there too.

That is so awesome. ^^ I've never played GSC, but it sounds really awewsome. But if you go to Kanto to fight their gym leaders using the same pokemon you started out with, all the gym battles would be amazingly easy, right? Unless of course they either make you use new pokemon or the gym leaders are more powerful than the elite four.

The gym leaders are more powerful than the Elite Four lol... And after you beat all of the gym leaders, you get to go to Mount Silver where

Cyndaquil, with Fire Punch and Thunderpunch (when he evolves) as a throwback to the old build I used in the originals.

The enemy pokemon levels are raised to be around where the Elite Four have them, or higher.

Meh, I'm starting with Treecko anyway. Trading it over as soon as I can, not going to evolve it to Sceptile. Grovyle is still by far my favorite pokemon.

Todotile. Because I have never had it before In Gold I used Cyndaquil and got Chikorita as soon as I could trade.
