Poll: What post-apocalyptic setting would you live in if you had to?

I'd go with the plague option. If I live through it, it just means that most people are dead. So all the human infrastructure is still lying around and not infested with living corspes, so thats good. And the environment isn't fucked, so it would still be possible to live off the land. Its just that most people are gone as well as society as we know it, so I would be free to fuck around all I want. Plus it would be interesting to see what kind of groups would pop up amongst the surviors. Would people try to work together in small tribes? Would new nations try to emerge? Would gangs and warbands rule what's left? Or would we all just wander around hoping to bump into others and try to survive?

Rifts, the BEST post-apocalyptic setting. Nuclear war led to dimensional portals opening everywhere causing untold natural disasters, aliens to show up, and magic to re-awaken. My favorite setting for using giant, shiny robots to do battle with dragons.

this may be off-topic, but it occurs to me that there's never been a biblical post-apocalyptic game that stays true to the bible. Imagine a game set immediately after all the saved are raptured off to heaven and you play as Jesus during his second coming to fight off satan's army. There could be a moral choice system for choosing whether to save the corrupted souls left behind(and in your way) or just kill them. The greater demons such as abbadon, belial, etc as well as the four horsemen could be some great boss fights all leading up to the final boss, the antichrist (a clone of your character's skills and all that but evil)

This game would of course be fictional because that's exactly what religion is, but that doesn't change the fact that it could be loads of fun

Plague because if I'm living in said world, I'm probably immune. All I'd have to look out for are other survivors and maybe wild animals.

In a nuked world, there'll be no way to grow food in irradiated soil and zombies, though fun to plan for, would suck to fight constantly.

Definitely a zombie apocalypse since in the real world it'd be stopped before it even began. And even if it didn't, zombies rot, so it'd only last so long.

Fast zombies are goddamn terrifying, but if these are the slow zombies then I'll go with that option.

Zombies and Demons arent realistic so cant really say those.. the most plausible scenarios are the climate ones so I voted that way and would like to try my hands at it.

Robotic takeover is interesting too tho.. with all the UAV and mech-suits being made it seems like that one day a Terminator world might seem realistic! haha.. would suck big time too
