Poll: What preconceptions do you have/know of about Swedes?

Or so I thought, until I visited Sweden on holiday, around 2 years ago. I did have meatballs though, and they were fantastic.

Other than having an attrocious sense of humour I have none. This is mainly due to some weird mental block where all nordic types are homogenised into a group I like to call Viking types (Whether or not you were the actual geography is really more Norse than anything) where by everyone from Norway down to the top of Germany are Norswelandutchians.

I;'d be greatly obliged if your nations would merge and call yourselfs Norswelandutchians cause I have at tiny obstinate brain

I also get confused as to which is the liver & which is the kidneys

A Norwegian told me once that all Swedes are gay and not really Nordic. I thought it was great. Though he didn't complain about Swedes as much as he did Danes.

Well, we complain about how stupid the Norwegians quite often so..It's a mutual thing.

That would explain it. He was rather found of bashing Swedes but had an absolute venom for the Danes. Though I love thinking about Swedish Parliament all talking like Swedish Chef it makes me giggle.

Yeah, no one likes the Danes.
