To be honest, I was hoping there would be viking axe battles, but unfortunately people just kind of walked around without engaging in mortal combat to the death. I was rather disappointed. You see, my great-grandfather was Swedish, and I was hoping to go to the land of my ancestry and fight someone with an axe, like everyone else did, because it was Sweden, land of the Vikings. Unfortunately, my mother decided that we wouldn't even go into the countryside, but rather look at things in museums in Stockholm the entire time. Needless to say, there were no Viking axe battles. I was even more disappointed to learn that Viking axes are not even for sale. I asked the lady at the desk where Viking axes might be sold, and she looked bewildered and taken aback. That was all there was to it. I realised that Sweden is just like any other part of the developed world: boring. Sorry Swedish people and people from other parts of the developed world.
