Just curious how others think.

I don't like to admit it but although both effect me somewhat, the fear of being caught and punished influences me more.

Edit: "Bad" is in quotation marks because everyone has their own standards of what they believe "bad" is. Whether it's everday things like acting like a dick or bigger things like nuking a town of nuclear apocalypse refugees LOL.

There's a collar around my neck that gives me a small electric shock whenever I'm thinking bad thoughts.

Somebody help me...

Normally because I don't like consequences. Sometimes I do things that I thought I shouldn't and I'll be like '... huh that wasn't so bad'

Because the world gives you gifts in turn that are better then doing the bad things to begin with.....and I guess it works in real life too.

Because i have no motivation to? If i dont see a point in it im not going to do it. Simple enough.
Nice answer, didn't think of that one but I mean there had to be at least a couple times where you had to decide if you should do something that was considered "bad", right? Or never? Did you never have to make a moral decision over anything?

hmm, what stops me from doing bad things... the fact that bad is mearly a point of view and has no real applicable meaning unless you want it to

Kill the annoying person and be free of a 5 minute lecture.. or 25 years of getting butt fucked in prison.

That pretty much somes up my moral descisions.

Not impending jail rape = No problems! :D mind you if we are 15 or so miles in coastal waters... Open season >:D

That would be why "bad" is in quotation marks, because everyone has their own standards of what they believe "bad" is.

The voice in the back of my head.
OR...
Because I can't be bothered really.

The first two reasons, but leaning towards just because I know it's wrong. Or the last reason (which is probably the most relevant to me). I don't do bad things because I don't want to? I even have a small issue with lying (unless it's to my parents or about something that nobody needs to know)
