I have to say it sucks more to be a man. Then again I'm a pre-op woman until the operation so my reasons behind my opinion are a lot more personal than most.

It sucks equally.

Periods ---- Dealing with People on Periods
Childbirth - Optional
Easy target for rape - easy target for assault (The balls, need I say more?)
Ovarian Cancer - Prostate Cancer

And then there's the stereotyping for both genders of ALL ages (teen boys are all murderers and thieves), societal pressures (make-up etc.).

It sucks for both genders really, but if I had to pick, it would be women. Mostly because I am not one, and being a guy rocks.

I'll never subject myself to giving birth or any of that nasty shit, and even with that out of the equation, being a woman is still pretty lame. D:

Women:
)Advantages:
_More resistant to pain
_Better and Multiple orgasms
_Can control men to do as they please if they have good booty XD
_Live longer

)Disadvantages:
_Child Birth (optional)
_Menstruation and PAIN (totally sucks)
_Have to pee siting down
_Society is still slightly chauvinist. And they know it.
_If you get pregnant and the father runs away, you're stuck with the baby. (don't have sex with dumbasses)
_Are vulnerable to rape, and to crimes more often than men.

)Other:
_Tend to be more emotional
_More flexible, but weaker
_Better Multitasking, less focus.
_Tend to have a better right hemisphere (arts, communication, emotions)

Men:
)Advantages:
_Can pee while standing!!!
_Do not have menstruation!
_Live in a chauvinist society
_Can be topless in hot weather without being ashamed

)Disadvantages:
_Pretty much the opposite of women's advantages.
_Susceptible to Impotence and early ejaculation.
_Can be kicked in the balls
_Boners are noticed

)Other:
_Less emotional, more isolated.
_Less flexible, but stronger
_Better focus, less multitasking
_Tend to have a better left hemisphere (sciences, math, logical thinking)

I think both have their pros and cons, but Menstruation is horrible xD

This thread is truely retarded. When you ask "which sucks more" you're implying that they both suck. Sounds like you'd rather just not exist than to be a human. Pretty sad, really. I think both sexes are awesome. I'm happy to be a man, and I'm very happy that there are women too.
i agree that being a human is awesome, but all im trying to say is that some sexes have pluses and minuses. all im trying to do is start and argument.

and here comes the complaining about bleeding twelve times a year. you know, if you bleed a few to times, so what? it means your body is functioning normally. for us men, if you bleed from your penis, it means we have cancer. so be proud you can bleed from down there and not die.
Excuse me while I stab you in the stomach 100 times and expect you to walk around like everything is fine for 5 days. Menstruation is the reason I had my uterus disabled because that fucking hurt..

Women have more pleasure in bed. A lot more in my relationship, but I'd assume it's pretty universal. They also get to give birth, which I see as just as positive as negative. They are also a lot better looking (as a heterosexual man, this statement becomes entirely useless, but I'll still present it), get laid more easily and can earn a lot more in sexual industries (strippers, porn et cetera). The only backside is menstruation, but that affects the guy in the relationship as well. We have to deal with your hormonal state and in return we don't get to have sex. I'd say it sucks more to be a man.

wheres the equal option? life sucks for the both of um just in different categories.

Males get the biological short end of the stick with increased chance of having a mal-devolved body or just one that encourages you to do bad things (IE: the evil effects of testosterone and adrenaline subliminal conditioning.) Males may be built stronger but that dosent mean they were built better. Also just makes it easier to break when you go about doing the stronger part. I would say autism as well but i tend to believe autism is just a shotgun blast designation for "people who arent like everyone else" now since autism has gotten so vague over the years.

Females on the other hand get the social short end of the stick. They are obviously heavily looked at and pre-judged alot. Its understandably hard for a women to just be herself when she has million+ people all judging her on how she should be and what she should look like instead of what she wants to be and look like. That and they are natural conditioned to be more social then males. They rely on it more and tend to be more focused to be smart as apposed to capable. (insert secretary stereotype here) Physical wise Menstruation is certainly different but they are built and trained for it as are males and their hormones. I cant really say its worse but i can say its a challenge, not biologically mind you because it dosent try to kill you, but socially since its not something you really want to share with the world that you are bleeding in your pants and hormones running.

As for child birth, I will give that it sucks, but its a chosen sacrifice you can go your whole life without it so i cannot say its "worse for females" because of it since its a choice not forced apon you.

And let me make sure its clear that these are the broad brush paint strokes here not everyone falls in these categories and every individual is a case with their own special issues, but in short, its balanced pain amongst everyone, they just have chosen different categories to suffer in.

How is this even a question. There are countries in the world today where it is culturally expected that a father's first response to the news that his daughter has been raped is to murder her for bringing shame upon the family. Cultures that would condem women to live out there lives in a cloth bag and would have acid thrown on their faces if they had the audacity to try and earn an education. Even in 'the greatest nation of the world' women still earn 70 cents on the dollar compared to men.

Women have lived under an oppressive, chauvanistic tyranical patriarchy for pretty much all of human existence, only now is some of the modern world moving closer to having gender equality, and even now we are still quite a ways off.

i know a lot of you will start saying women have to give birth to a child, and i realize you have to carry it around for 9 months and not drink alcohol and caffeine, and then there's giving birth. BUT DON'T YOU GET SOMETHING GOOD OUT OF IT? you get a child of your own, someone to love and that will love you in return, to slowly raise and be proud of. and some of you might be thinking: but when the baby is born the women has to handle the baby crying and change diapers and so, and so, and so. well lets make one thing clear: ITS NOT JUST THE WOMEN. in most cases at least. hell, in most cases the women is out supporting the family and the father is the one who gets stuck. there's part of my reason for thinking that. so leave your side of the argument and reason.
EDIT: unless you have actually given birth, you have no right to argue about that subject.
That's not what child birth entails. We don't just walk with a lump in our belly. No, back pain increases tremendously for some. Can't bend over. The baby sometimes kicks too hard and gives stomach pain. You feel FAAATTT! Also, it's damn feet or hands can get pinned against a nerve and make your whole arm go numb.(You have to eat really spicy food to make the baby move off it)
After the birth? They have to sew your up and you can't have sex for 6-8 weeks. Baby weight that you have to then loose. Your breasts have become balloons that randomly lactate and if you don't pump them or feed the baby it hurts like hell. Like you will burst. Once you are done breast feeding, for good, you have to then strap your breasts to your chest to make them go back to your normal size. It's like wearing a sports bra that's too tight.
(No, I haven't been pregnant, but my sister in-law was. She lived with us the whole 9 months and I had to help her with the things that the guys wouldn't, so I figured I could argue some.)

Morning wood is probably just as bad as being turned on as a girl and walking around all... let's just say it's uncomfortable.

Then there's periods, cramps, unrelenting chocolate or salted food cravings. Not to mention you just snap at people. I remember your gym coaches usually not giving a shit.

Also, menopause with hot flashes and more woman rage.

Oh, and what I would give to just whip it out, pee... then shake-shake and zip it up.

But, we do get free drinks bought for us at bars. There's a plus.

Stronger, faster, taller. Go to the toilet standing up. No childbirth, periods etc.
yes, we can piss standing. but we dont have any crosshairs so aiming's a ***** (then we get bitching about it). and what about spunking in your pants? sticky, uncomfortable. and boners: we cant control them, and in jeans: hurt like a *****.
and men arent necessarily stronger: that comes normally with training. faster: training. taller: that's more genetic. my mother- 5'9, most girls i know- 5'4. my mother- half scandanavian. girls i know- mostly scots decent.

having a free tent in the morning and trying to hide it from your family
Get yourself one of those Arthur Dent type morning/bath robe and put it on first thing in the morning. You'll be 100% comfy, 100% stylish and your morning glory will be safely concealed behind two layers of thick fabric. It made my mornings so much better :D

This sort of thing really comes down to the environment you're from, but in general I'd say females have to put up with a lot more shit than us guys. Patriarchal attitudes snd discrimination is far more prevelant than the inverse.

As a generalization I think the gals get the short end of the stick. However each sex has its own advantages and disadvantages. So depending on how you lend weight to the disadvantages either side could win. I currently give my win to the women because of social standards, but those are changing. On average the fairer sex gets paid less and deals with more crap in a work environment. Males deal with more aggravation and stress in a dating environment (generalization on both of those points). So if you are more worried about sex than you are money, men have it worse (in this scenario). Vice Versa for those more worried about money.

I have to say it, this debate is as pointless as it is tired, I'm afraid. All it will accomplish is bringing out some sexist remarks that people would rather leave buried.

I don't think being either is worse, much as I don't think being either is better. Maybe one being one is better/worse, but despite what anyone says no-one knows, and I doubt anyone ever will.

Can we please stop bickering over who's gender is bigger and better now? Everyone has issues, but saying a whole half of a species has it easier just cause they don't have to live with it is more than a little childish.

Rant over, anyway. I just really, really don't like these things.
