What's casual and hardcore? I might be in between of those 2 because I'll spend like the whole day on a game and take like days off it. Then spend the whole like week playing it.

I guess I fall into the "Hardcore" category. I'm pretty into competitive games like CoD4 and Smash Bros.
Im casually hardcore. I love playing the big games, like halo, Gears, Fallout, and the like, but I do so casually. I dont strive to be the best, or work hard to gain all the achievements. I play for fun.
I'd say hardcore, mainly because my general gaming 'skill' seems to be above average, and thats not bragging or anything, that just seems to be a fact. That, and the fact I spend like 80& of my free time (i.e. not working, seeing the GF or going out with mates) on games, as opposed to watching tv or whatever.
Hardcore, but like an earlier poster, I don't enjoy being elitist about it. Being elitist is too pointless, and frankly, it's kind of sad when we're being elitist over who can zap imaginary aliens with a raygun the fastest or who does it more often.
I don't consider myself any of the options. I just find a game play it until I'm good and quit.
I am a "hardcore" gamer. That doesnt mean that I stay up till 5 in the morning every night playing TF2, I do that every so often. I am a serious gamer, but I like to have fun wit it 
Id say hardcore for me, i am gaming everyday of the week around a minimum of 3 hours per day. when playing online i am getting people asking for advice, so i suppose i am no longer able to be called 'Noob' at what i play.

I'm often playing, Achievement whoring, and only cheating when it doesn't affect my achievements.
I don't game binge, but I do repeatedly replay games (especially rpgs).
And I can't physically use a wiimote/nunchuck, or a Guitar/RockBand Controller. I need the gamepad.

I'm neither. I'm just a gamer. If it's fun, I'll play it. Whether it's stomping Goombas in Mario or cracking alien skulls with a crowbar in Half Life, I'll play it.
I game way too much, but ill lable myself a noob just because i can never switch up my routes on cod4 and i wont change my gun if i have a good game. just sayin i only play hc search so thats what i mean by routes. also i depend too heavily on dead silence and claymores

I love them enough to be hardcore, but I'm not good enough at them to be Hardcore.
But I also play them occasionally (Occasionally meaning every day but each game for maybe 1-3 hours.) so it's in between Casual and Hardcore.
