So I was texting my friend and she said she was watching a show about turning girls who essentially like beer and sports and video games and whatnot and turning them into fashionista stylish "everygirl" types so thety could get guys.

....What.

Fashionista are nothing more then fashion bugs, and when I mean bugs, I mean Cockroaches.

Those girls, who like beer and sports and video games...They are the ones we want!

ARE YOU WITH ME!

Edit: I take best friend for a thousand.

MoNKeyYy.
HELLZ YES!!!!!!!!!!

Just so you know I'm quoting you to my friends along with a fat fukcing "I TOLD YOU SO".

Considering my social circle is restricted to fairly intelligent people, the choices "intelligent" and "best friend" are identical to me. I chose the former, as it appeared less popular. My rule of thumb when it comes to girls: if she can derive the uncertainty principle (substitute astronomical/astrophysical question if necessary), she's a keeper. Sometimes I wonder why I'm still single...

God, I hate this so called, "everygirl". Why do girls want to be so mediocre? Trying to be stylish and beautiful and everything just makes you mediocre...

Does it have to be a girl? I don't want to date one of those.

Okay, for discussion's sake, loosely translating your poll options into dudes, I'd definitely go for the ditzy one. Some part of me wants to be more intelligent than the man I date, and a really big part of me wants to date a smoking hot dude.

So yeah.

Besides, the OP only said 'date', not 'marry and have to endure for the rest of your days'.

Intellectual - ...She watches shows on BBC and Discovery
Hate to break it to you but the overwhelming majority of the content on Discovery now is pure trash designed to pander to the lowest common denominator(see: Deadliest Catch, American Loggers, etc.)

OT: I'll go for the "good fuck" type. My selection may seem a little brash considering I have been placed on probation, but why do you need relationships? You can be friends with benefits, and that way you can still be friends if things fail sexually between you or if one of you becomes romantically interested in someone else.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of most shows on Discovery either but I tossed that one in purely for the sake of an easy example.

I like my girls "everygirl" on the outside and best friend on the inside. A cute girl who also likes the same things I do is the best mix.

Honestly?

A girl that is funny, smart, and gets along with my friends. I wouldn't care if she was clumsy, or a gamer, but if i can't stand the dribble she spews i'd drop her faster than the U.S. economy.

I think I'd go for the mix of best friend and intellectual. I just want a girl who genuinely likes me, you know like friends do. It makes things more comfortable and brings the tension way down in the relationship. Plus I love having long discussions with people, it's a lot of fun. Oh, and if the girl wasn't a vegetarian and didn't have a huge amount of emotional baggage that would be fantastic (My last three girlfriends have all had this problem, it irritated the living hell out of me)

Somewhere between best friend and intellectual. I want someone who I can really relate to as a person, rather than a trophy.

The "Everygirl" one. Don't really like having my Girlfriend as my Best Friend.

Best friend I suppose. Someone like that is someone who I would get along with very well. It would likely be a lot of fun. :)

Best friend because to me that means "The person who you get along with better than anyone else" and if that happened to be a woman than that sounds like everything would work out well.

A girl who likes me. Uh, I mean... A girl who is like me. So best friend.

I figure if this is a girl I'm dating, might be someone I can relate to.
