i'd go for the gravity suit (Samus) if it weren't for the ball, it freaks me out. no instead i'd go for the 40K power armor instead, plus it CAN be worn by normal humans, in 40K there's an entier faction of plain humans in power armor, albeit women, so you could say that they are an army of Samuses

ALL OF THE ONES ON THE POLL.

(And the medium-weight one from Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri)

Anyway...I doubt I would fit into a 40K Space Marine power armor, no matter how badass it is, and Fallout power-armor is flippin' sweet, but you mentioned the Fallout 3 ones, and even though I love my T-51b, I think I'd rather have the model from Fallout Tactics.

The Crysis one can cloak which is a huge plus, but I've fantasized about having Samus' suit - but again, we'd need to be talkin': Metroid Prime 1? 2? 3? Fusion? Which suit do I get? Does it come with the gunship? It probably doesn't.

The Section 8 power armor looks really awesome, and the jetpack is sweet, but it just feels like a weaker version of the armor from Tribes, and the HUD really pisses me off compared to, say, the one from Terra Nova. :(

Maybe an Elemental suit from Battletech, but I might as well just go for 40k armor at that rate.

Yeah, ok, I think I gotta go with Samus.

Crysis nano suit all the way - regenerating armour, not permanent disfiguration/augmentation needed to use it, and of course, super speed and strength. My other real alternative would be for the Spartan armour from the book series, coupled with the insane level of training the Spartans get. Of course, the drawback with that is the insane level of training you have to go through, plus the augmentation and shit you have to make it through in order to merely survive wearing the damn thing.

Nope, definitely going with the nano suit (plus, of course, unlike Samus' armour it doesn't need to be upgraded to be ninja ;)

I have to go with nanosuit. It won't be very useful against policeman armed with taser, but it still kicks ass
:D

I'd have to say some MJOLNIR Mark VI armor (Halo), since it lets you flip a 60 ton tank.

Yeah, I think I could punch a hole through any other suit of armor if mine was that strong, nevermind swing around a nice little Gravity Hammer or something.

Mk. III Aquila type Power Armor, so I can jumpjet around with a powerfist and plasma pistol...

Just like in DoW2

Hmmm. I'd say Crysis, Fallout, or metroid would fit. personally, I'd rather get a larger one, like in Heavy Gear. Or mechwarrior.

Power Armor from 40k, god damn that shits awesome. But, to utilize it properly you must have all the implants and years worth of training.

Other than that, maybe the Nanosuit from Crysis.

I would love to have any of them, but my most favourite would be Samus Aran's armour

Freakin' Section 8!

And if I die, I don't respawn, I commence an Orbital Drop. And I do it myself, I don't cower inside a funny phonebox-machine, you ODST pansies!
Lets see the Section 8 folks fight without power armour and forcefield against elite soldiers that can take down a dozen equal enemies per man

anyway, I would really enjoy having Typhus' suit, it's the only thing a fat guy like me could wear and still look good
very good indeed

this include the weapons, rotting and such yeah?

How about none and have a character people can relate to like a serial murderer who runs around w/o any shoes?
