Definitely Halo armor. It's got everything from shields to strength enhancers to health dispensers to climate control. And it looks awesome.

why isn't the fallout 1 and 2 power armor on there? they are completely different from 3.
Well, because I thought that the Fallout 3 armor was the most recognizable.

While I find all the armor appealing in some capacity, if given a choice there are more than a few I would discard.

Space Marine armor for example is incredibly protective, and is in fact the second most protective personal armor in the WH40K universe. When you consider that even the crummy armor Guardsmen wear is vastly superior to modern infantry armor, that says something. Unfortunately, the armor also weighs in at nearly two tons, and combined with the bulk I'd find that there is absolutely no commonly available transportation that would bear my weight.

The Terran Marine armor seemed to have little that was actually good about it and hardly seemed to be a barrier for the horrors of that universe. After seeing so many of my marines felled in game after game, I'd say I'd ditch that death trap in a heartbeat.

Fear 2's armor is more of a walking tank than armor so I don't really think it counts. If I were to choose something from this category it would almost certainly be a 'mech from the Battletech universe (Original Battlemaster obviously).

Section 8's armor seemed to be nothing more than a derivative of Tribes armor. The joy with Tribes armor is that there are versions that would actually allow me to enter a modern personal vehicle without much effort while still having a huge amount of protection and vastly improved mobility. Tribes armor would therefore be my choice, or, failing that, the armor from Section 8.
Good arguments, but hey, it's not really about practicality, more about just looking cool. Also, for the Fear 2 Armor I meant the kind that are just a little bit bigger than a normal person, around the size of a Big Daddy.

If it's about looking cool, then I'd opt for Space Marine armor.

If I can't walk around in Mecha then I want magic armor!

Holy hell how do I post images.

Scratch that.

Edit: That last thing was an edit.

Edit: So was that. And this.

3-way tie between Warhammer40k, the Crysis Nanosuit, and Samus' power armor. The first is absurdly powerful like everything in Warhammer40k, the second one has the perks of different modes (no longer will I be the slow one), and Samus' is just cool.

if your going to include a series, include all of it. especially fallout as the power armors vary from game to game. ill say advanced power armor MKII circa fallout 2, which is 10x better and looks much better then the annorexic alien ripoff called the enclave armor in fallout 3. that way, you don't have to add individual games and sequels, just include the entire series.
Done, changed it to "Fallout Power Armor."

Warhammer 40k all the way. Although the Spartan armor and the Cryisis nanosuit are both appealing, neither can be directly shot at by a tank and survive.
