Poll: What was your First Pokemon?

Alas, I started on gold version so I must say cindaquil. However I did watch it from day 1 when it came out here.

Torchic, but that was back in sapphire, and I accidentally released it, and then I had to get a shroomish, though, breloom did kick ass, sky uppercut once, and every single Pokemon I met dropped dead (ok fainted but w/e) it also knew dynamic punch, and mach punch, cant remember its other move though.

Pokemon Red was already Blue's hard mode.

I picked Charmander, too, but that's because me and my brothers had chipped in for the big strategy manual thing which shows you all of the later evolutions. I saw Charizard and I wanted nothing else.

Me and my cousin to this day buy opposite versions of every game. He got Red and picked Squirttle, I got Blue and picked Charmander.

We've already chosen who gets Black and White.

OT: My first was Charmander, I decided to take the more difficult route in Pokemon Blue.

Oh goodness, I loved Pokemon Blue, my first Pokemon was Bulbasaur, then Charmander, then Bulbasaur. But the first one I ever caught myself was a male Nidoran.

Treeko, in what I beleive was called Pokemon Ruby. It is the only pokemon game I've played and I think I collected about 30 or so before I called it quits. Interesting game at first but eventually the fact that the game is nothing BUT a grind caught up to me. Once the basic mechanics were dull it didn't take long for the allure of collecting horrible monsters so that I might better smite my foes to become dull as well.
