Poll: What will Yahtzee think of Heavy Rain?

I think the people who say that he thinks it will suck like he does everything else are the wounded fanboys of Halo 3 and MW2.

I think he will find it highly immersive and cinematic but might have a problem with the controls and call it an interesting experiment but is doomed to be ripped off a thousand times over.

I think it's safe to assume that he'll find plenty of things wrong with the game, and then make jokes about them. Unless of course it turns out Heavy Rain is another Portal, which it most certaintly will not be.

Ok when has Yahtzee ever liked games that do quick time events. THE GAME IS A GIANT QUICK TIME EVENT!!!! Im not sure why none of you thought it through before asking cause he hates those things i doubt he will play a whole game based around them

I'm not 100% sure he's going to review it at all. If he does, though, I'm almost certain he's going to regret saying QTE's should be part of the core gamplay.

That's pretty much the formula. Does it make me watch him every week. Yes. But he's always pretty much going to stick to that formula

He doesn't hate QUE, he just hates it when it is thrown in every now and then, as he said in his review of Uncharted, "If you are going to use QUE's make them a core part of the game." So, if this game does it well, and it has a great story, there is a chance he will like it.

I voted no though because like someone said before me, he is going to say something along the lines of "If I wanted to see a movie I wouldn't pat 40 bucks extra". I will probably agree with him on that one to.

i don't think he'll review it but if he did i think he'd like it because he likes story and immersion to be in the forefront and they are in heavy rain. its true he hates Q.T.Es but the ones here are, well, different.

Dude at least in most of our views he hates most of the games he reviews. BUT that being said i think its supposed to have a good story and he likes story but thats my 2 cents

I he reviews it, I think he will hate it. He will probably see it as a massive quick time event game

He'll either really like it, but not as much as, say, Portal, or he'll think it's a great effort, but ultimately flawed. That's just the sense I'm getting; we still don't know much about Heavy Rain's actual quality, but all signs do point towards it at least being something special.
