Airplane, more specifically a F-18. Fly fast and low, blowing the shit out of everything. Land on a carrier, repeat. I'd need the carrier to be crewed by a few thousand. So I guess a combination of boat/airplanes would be best. Then only send raiding partys ashore with air support to collect supplies every few months.
I imagine after a month or two the zombies would have decomposed/starved sufficiently that most of the crew could safely be brought ashore to pillage. I must ask though, what exactly would you be bombing?
Stuff, like the eiffel tower and anything that looks like it'll blow up all nice. Also, I'm sure we would have a short wave link up and fly fire support missions to anybody who needed them.

Actually according to the zombie survival book a blip is your best bet because it doesn't need to be refuelled and land virtually everywhere.

From the list, I would choose a nice boat.

- you live on the water, giving you a great line of sight to any incoming threats (in fact, some breeds of zombies could not swim (infected need to breathe, so they would drown)).
- you can fish, thereby having a renewable resource for food.
- With many docks containing freighters and tankers, supplies can be rounded up fairly quickly when you need to stop in a port.
- You can venture to a different continent, if the outbreak has been quarentined to a certain region.
No stop that, since when have zombies needed to breath? Have you ever seen anyone strangle a zombie before? Also if they are dead their corpses will start to bloat and the can float to the boat and then get you
Notice, I said infected need to breath. If we refer to them as infected, that means that they are mindless eating machines (a la 28 Days Later) but still technically alive. That means that they need to breath still (at least that's my interpretation of an "infection" zombie).
