Realistically, some form of armoured personnel carrier such as the FV430. Spacious enough to keep supplies in, armoured and mobile. Light weaponry in some cases, but your best weapon in a zombie apocalypse is time.
Boats aren't a sensible choice-Far too fickle about things such as weather. Plus, swimming zombies are possible, and even if they aren't-The zombies could just sit at the docks and wait for you to have to go back for supplies.
Helicopters and planes are the worst-VERY little armour in most cases, virtually no room for supplies, and they are fuel hungry beasts.
As for readily available stuff, something reliable and tough. Any mid-range saloon or 4WD jeep, something like a Land Rover. Modification of those would be best.

If sci-fi vehicles count, then I would like a shuttle from Star Trek: The Next Generation. All the convenience of a helicopter, with superior speed, armor, and weaponry, plus medical supplies, food, and a transporter.

A small, lightweight, 4-wheel drive truck/SUV/van/doesn't matter. You can roll over anything that matters.

Just put some extra armaments on it and even if you run out of fuel, it will take the zombies a while to get to ya.
Although it is totally impractical, it is so cool, it would be worth it to die for making that choice.
