A bicycle! It's quiet so won't be drawing attention to yourself both from zombie and unfriendly survivors, easy enough to ride, and easier to get around on in an apocalypse especially since roads will be clogged up with abandoned vehicles

I would almost say a bicycle. Bicycles are silent and can be pretty fast.

Only problem with bikes is that one couldn't carry much...
Yes! I was going to say the same thing, only when I tell people this they don't believe me.

The Armored command Unit from Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance, this thing would be impossible to harm AND it can create an army or self sustainable base.

Boat. You could just park somewhere in the ocean and live a life of local co-op on Xbox and fishing with your buds.

That's better than normal life!

A bicycle. It doesn't make noise, it can't run out of gas, and it can be carried.

One of those fancy cruise ships. I would, of course, have my trusty crew, a handful of survivors and a radio with which I would attempt to contact people in America. Once radio-contact is established, I would organise to have them meet me at a pier or dock. From there, the gun-toting Americans could take me to the nearest grocery store, where we pick up enough ammunition and non-perishables to last us a hell of a long time at sea. Also, with the massive distance between the water line and any handhold I would leave on the outside of the ship, no zombie's could get to us.

So yes, a cruise ship is the best vehicle to have. A vehicle I could obtain, on the other hand ... a car??? Though admittedly, once the rest of the world becomes horribly infected, Australia would just shut down all traffic in and out, so really, I wouldn't have to deal with zombies.

A horse or a bicycle because they both make no noise and are self sufficient and maneuverable
It would have to be one hell of a trained horse. Horses do get loud if they smell predators, and hungry dirty zombies covered in blood would cause quite a stench.
Plus, a horse at a gallop or trot is still loud enough to gain some attention. Horseshoes aren't that quiet.
And feeding it would probably be more difficult than finding fuel too.

A TANK.
preferably one with a flame shield and an automatic meat grinder on the front. Who wants burgers :DDDDD???
(That was gross I know...)

unless the zombies are like the ones in L4D. then a tank zombie would rip it apart eventually.

Submarine, Bring a crew of skilled Sailors. A Nuke sub with controller (and if you don't have one read the book it's step by step.

You canseal the lower hatches send a rifle man/lookout to the conn...and if zombie piss ya off to long dive right there at the dock to wash them off. They are not to complex of a vehicle to teach others to use.

The blades of a helicopter could prove somewhat useful, plus just fly to a remote area where there is relatively little threat

I'm sure it's already been said already, but the Zombie survival guide says a motorcycle (dirt bike, I believe?) is the best you can find. It's not about protection so much as it is out manuvering the Zombies to find a safer (read: safer, not safe, as no place is truly safe).

A what?

On topic, probably a big-ass 18-wheeler with a trailer. Just fill the trailer with other survivors and guns, and you've got a mobile bunker that can plow through dozens of zombie-suckas. Also, if you're ever stranded in the middle of nowhere, you can use it as a shelter.

I'll go with the zepplin (like a fuji-film blimp) They float FOREVER, and can be guided like a heli... best of both worlds! :p
OMG! Finally someone mentioned a zeppelin! It's basically a zombie-proof fortress... which can move! It's your safest bet unless there are flying zombies. And no zombie movies to date contained them, as far as i know. Maybe one or two.

But i voted truck anyway - it's what i could practically get my hands on in case of ZA. Just take a heavy military truck, put a bunker on it (not neccesarily bulletproof), stick a plow on the front, and bingo! It's basically zombicide on wheels! I wish more zombie movies had such trucks.
But are you even able to land a zeppelin without a ground crew? If not, it might be pretty tough to get enough supplies to last very long. Although it would be pretty sweet.

A bicycle, it never runs out of fuel(unless you die) and its easy to repair. Though carrying around resources for survival will be a tough one.
