If it came with an unlimited supply of money.

Really, Nintendo pretty much killed themselves for me this generation.
I don't think the Nintendo exect can hear you from atop their pile of money shout louder.

I figure they'll never hear me.

Um... internet compatibility. How have we not had this? Wii and DS and their stupid friend codes ruin the experience.

Well, besides the stuff I KNOW it's going to have? I'm going to get it, but some things I'm hoping for:

1: Better online service. Seriously, this x1000.
2: A good launch line-up. All three companies are guilty of bad launches, not just Nintendo. Here's hoping Nintendo stops this disturbing new trend.
3: 3DS support. A nice little bonus.

Get rid of the GD motion controls.
It's been confirmed to support Wii games (and therefore motion controls), though the focus will be on standard games.

Other - What convinces me to buy any console: the games (which is why I don't own a 360). I don't care for release titles because I don't think I've ever even gotten a console in the first year of it being around. Release titles don't make or break a console.

A normal goddamn controller, High Definition and some good 1st party games.

Come on, Nintendo. You can do it!

If they tell Motion controls to rightly fuck off.

Also, if it ends up being as powerful as they say (more powerful than the 360 or PS3) then they must finally make an ultimate pokemon game, otherwise I will disown them.

I want to see all of those things. I want some graphical improvement, more innovation, connectivity with their handhelds, good release titles, and a shifted focus to the hardcore gamer.

What would really get me is if they continued development on the Wii as the casual console and the next generation console as their hardcore console.

Oh, and there is one more make or break thing for me. I want the codename for this to be project Wiier and then the official release name to be the revolution. Make it happen Nintendo.

Either the graphics or the titles/games. Plus, either less motion control or more interactions with the motion controls.

Abandon motion control, add more third party support, have some worthwhile features and have them lay off kissing the causal market's ass.
Edit: Oh yeah, CURRENT GENERATION GRAPHICS.

1 reason:

The games!

All I need are 2 games: F-Zero and Super Smash Bros.

F-Zero was a great, fun, challenging series that Nintendo has seemingly forgot. I always loved racing on a futuristic road, going over 1000km, with a pumping electronic soundtrack. It gives me a great feeling.

As for Super Smash Bros 4, Brawl was a masterpiece! All it needs are more characters, specifically more 3rd party, particularly from Sega, Namco, Capcom, and Konami. Add these characters to the roster and I will bounce off the walls!

Klonoa -- representing Namco
Simon Belmont or Bill Rizer -- representing Konami
Ryu or Zero -- representing Capcom
NiGHTS or Shadow the Hedgehog -- representing Sega

and keep all the original characters, and consider Nintendo has a deal with me!
