Poll: What would you like to see next from Square Enix?

I know people have been disappointed at best with the latest Square Enix projects, esepcially in the Final Fantasy department. I've heard lots of people saying that Square Enix is officially over. I personally don't think this is the case, but I do think they need to go back and find the magical formula that made their earlier games so fantastic and memorable. Now I'm sure this is easier said than done, since the gaming market has changed so drastically within the past 5 to 10 years. A game like Final Fantasy X, while great at the time, would pale in comparison to games like Mass Effect 2. So what do you, the consumers, think would be the best idea for Square Enix's next big project?

Another Dissidia game, but this time a full HD console version. Hell make an HD version of Duodecim, that would sell like mad and the more Dissidia the better.

Next-gen remake of Final Fantasy 6. Kefka's awesomeness is too great to be confined only to sprites.

A single player Final Fantasy where you can create a character from the ground up (yes, that includes race because, Quina is freaking awesome and, so are Moogles). Wouldn't it be great playing the game as a Cactar or, Chocobo?

Anyway, I want this but instead of it being an RPG, I want this 'Final Fantasy' to use the same exact engine and gameplay as Just Cause 2. Hell, if you let me be a hook-shot wielding Bomb with WMDs and, terrorist tendencies I would eat that up in a second. I'm sure I'm not the only person who would agree with that. Sadly, I'm only 75.-something% complete with JC2...but I can always go back to that.

Innovation would be nice. Maybe ditch the Final Fantasy title all together? It really doesn't make any difference, seeing as the games really aren't related to begin with. It's just a lazy sales tactic rather than an actual canon universe.

And... maybe a decent localization team. I'm sick of decent dialogue and plot lines getting ruined by hamhanded translations and dubbing. Final Fantasy XII is the only SquareEnix game I can bring to mind that wasn't guilty of this. I know the dub teams don't have a lot to work with, but take some creative license, people!

I'm not going to restate that Final Fantasy XIV should have been a single-player game (or at the very least an expansion to FFXI). Perhaps instead of making it an MMO, it should have had multiplayer options kind of like the high-minded (but relatively failed) Monster Hunter Tri and White Knight Chronicles online modes.

I'd like to see something like that (we know you can do it SE), but more interesting, I think, would be a new entry in the Chrono Trigger series that blends the sweet combat positioning and combo systems of the original with the updated graphics systems and character rosters of Chrono Cross. Hard to say where they'd go with it though, story-wise. They already did time travel, they already crossed over space (parallel universes)... I suppose they could try to combine crossing over time and space or something, but that could end up excessively complex. Still, I'd like to see where/when/whatever they take it.

I disagree with throwing out the Final Fantasy title altogether. True, the games don't have anything to do with each other but they do share common elements. It would be depressing to think that I'd never play another game that had phoenix downs, chocobos, Bahamut, or cactuars ever again.

As much as I'd love to see remake of FFVI with sweet graphics, epic music and all the poignancy of the original, I really don't believe they could do it and get it right.

Therefore, either a new installment to the main kingdom Hearts series, or something completely different, but with kingdom hearts-seque combat. I want me some button bashing.

No love for the Chrono games? Chrono Cross was probably my favorite game for the PS1...other than Final Fantasy Tactics of course.

This but also, I'd like them to make "The Last Remnant" but take out all of the annoying things. I enjoyed it but it was clogged to the brim with annoying little things.
