I try to be close to my parents, but that action almost seems to tear me further away. I try not to piss them off, but that ends up making them mad. Hopefully this is all done by the end of senior year and the beginning of college.

I avoid doing things that I consider wrong, I'm close with my mom and my sister and have a small group of friends.
Can't say I'm rebellious at all...
I guess I'm reasonable?

Some of my friends say that I've mentally skipped the teenager phase, right to being a responsible adult...

I'm pretty reasonable. Yeah I had my moments of mouthing off but I never got in trouble with the law, snuck out, or did drugs. I was too busy being online with my long-distance girlfriend or hanging out with friends listening to music and watching anime.

Believe me, I know you are. It seems like you become lazier and lazier as time passes. You need to actually make an effort to get out of this rut...rather than just saying you will...pff.
Bah. Laziness is nice, and I am one of those people that strangely enjoys being bored. I will break out of this rut!
Sure you will.
The day that happens is the day you'll come and tell me you've suddenly decided that you love your mum more than anyone.
Gawd, woman. You know what you did there. I'm not sure that will ever happen. Haha. Well, unless I'm speaking to you when I'm having one of those random heart felt moments. They are very, very rare.

Somewhere in between. I just didn't care about enough stuff to really want to try to rebel, and I was too realistic about life to do anything to extreme. lol

I get on with my parents pretty well. Reasonable. Over the years, we've only had a few dozen shouting matches, never longer than a day without talking to each other. I get on with my Mum better than my Dad, because me and my Da are just too similar (says, my Ma :D)

I did what I was told. If I didn't it was a clip around the earhole, which learnt me and I don't get into trouble with authorities. I also told them a general idea of where I would be and asked if they wanted me back at a certain time.

So I think I can managed the last 7 months of teenhood without some ungodly feud tearing us apart.

I guess "rebellious", but I would say content. Really, I was just high most of the time, and one doesn't feel much need to rebel when you're in that frame of mind.

Yep, I do know.
And hah, it's funny when you suddenly go all heart-felt on me. You're too insane.

OT: Lots of "Reasonables." I'm not surprised; it's probably part of why The Escapist's forums are so good compared to a lot of other places'.

Being high all the time is rather rebellious in and of itself, though...

Being insane is what I do. Probably why my reasonable/rebelliousness changes depending on whatever type of mood I'm in. But I'm always happy, so usually reasonable I suppose.

And yes, I quite enjoy the Escapist's forums.

Being dissimilar is exactly why my dad and I don't get a long especially well, haha. We don't fight or anything, but we've never been nearly as close to each other as I am to Mum because we disagree on so many things (mostly political, and since all he talks about is politics...). My mum and I are practically the same person and pretty much best friends.

I think it's more like "usually just insane."
Maybe I need a new poll option.

I was always indifferent. I got on with my parents well enough and they've always been really good to me but I never really gave them the time of day as I was always busy doing my own thing. This carried on all through my twenties, but now they are getting on a bit and I'm suddenly realising that they won't be around forever and I've barely spent any time with them for nearly 15 years. Recently I've been going to see them a lot more and went on hoilday with them recently. I'd hate to turn round one day to find they didn't have very long left and realise that it was too late to have some happy times with them.

None of the above, I was what I am now, a sarcastic curmudgeon. I didn't get along with most of the students but the teachers loved me.

I'm quite rebelious, but I can see reason and can understand other people's points of view. What do I vote for?

This is more about one's relationship with authority than personality, though. If the teachers liked you, that would probably be...reasonable?

Yeah, I always worry about something like happing later on...I hope I'll be able to visit my parents often once I go off to college and such.
