Meh, I find that at high level the super mutant overlords are INSANE. They are NOT as rare as some people think they are. They have a potent weapon that tears you down. If you don't have upper end gear don't even think about trying to take them down. I have sat there and unloaded several THOUSAND rounds from the chinese assault rifle and barely hurt the suckers.
The albino radscorpians are tough, but then again, so are their giant counterparts. It sucks how they just seem to sneak up on you and start beating you down. I say kill it with fire.
Glowing ones are weak. If you don't know how to use VATS to do a headshot, then you deserve your glowing death.
Pretty much everything from point lookout was tough. There was no real reason to make the backwoods folk any tougher than standard raiders, since they are exactly that, only less armored and somehow with superior weapons.
