Its becoming more realistic and contraversal as gaming graphics get better, but it'll always be in video games. I persoanly have no grudge against violent games, but what do you consider to be the most violent game made and why Escapiees?

My choice would personaly be FEAR 2 just because the developers took the time to render the enemy models with full blown organs and skeletons after blowing half their back off. I know there's worse out there though. (God of War 3 for example)

Modern Warfare 2 'that' mission and GTA games, are both violent by definition.

I don't know any game that I would qualify as violent enough, with gore and stuff. I don't think we're there yet. I mean, any movie can compete easily.

I know I get a chubby good time every time I see the chainsaw in action in Gears of War 2, but I would call it far from being the most violent game out there.

Barbie's horse adventure.

Seriously, I think that mission in Modern Warfare 2 and Grand Theft Auto pretty much sums it up. Also, Left 4 Dead 2's gore-o-vision every time you melee an enemy is kind of ridiculous, but that doesn't really make it the most violent game out there.

In my opinion, "that" mission isn't very violent. No more violent than the rest of the game really. Just controversial.

OT: Mortal Kombat. Put it all into perspective and you'll see what I mean.

The Punisher - the game from 2004 (I think) It had torture and you get more points from killing people.

you could shove a Dagger through a guys mouth.

Rip out fingernails.

It was good.

Manhunt (the first one)
finally someone on this threed with sense
Manhunt was so close to being over the top, but it managed to be somewhat grounded in reality compared to a lot of other games and I think that's why it feels like the most violent game to me. Maybe there are some other games around with as much blood and guts, but few feel as visceral or just plain disturbing.

I'd agree with that, but just because it was the first to get major media coverage for its violence, doesn't necessarily mean it should be the most violent ever. I'm with Editos in that Manhunt should take the title. It's basically a stalker/murder simulator. And a fuckin awesome one at that.

Exactly... I'm not talking about how it looks with the graphics 'n' stuff. But the idea that you murder civilians because you're undercover and have to? That's fucking insane.

Nope; though I suspect if I had Man Hunt 1/2, my answer would be yes.

God of War 3 is probably going to be one of the most violent games. Blood that sticks on Kratos skin like in Dragon Age and organs coming out of the enemies. Awesome.
