Poll: Whats your fav Race in WH:40K

So what is your fav race in 40K(this includes both the TT and PC game). Please give a reason if you leave a post istead of just saying your race. Just to keep the topic alive, and please no flame wars or trolling.

Anyways I have to say Orks for me. Orks are the dumbest and quite possible the dangerous race their is in the 40K games. That is, if they all ally up together which is doubtful. I play the PC game so I always love the ork cut scenes due to their dialog and actions.

Space Marines or Chaos, odd I know. But I like Space Marines because the are the most iconic army of 40K, and I like Chaos because... they are chaos.

I love the Necrons to death! The giant moving pyramid of doom is my favorite thing in the game. But Chaos is a close second, only because the leader can be upgraded into a death-dealing demon. I still hate the sound clips of the builder units to death, and the screechy voices of the heretics is godawful.

I hate Chaos with an undying passion for reasons related purely to Game Balance and why I hate Warhammer: The Miniature Wargame Franchise as a whole.

I'm going with Necrons. Because it doesn't get better than metal zombies in space shooting green lightning!

Second thought, some self proclaimed fluff expert is gonna smack me in the face for saying that like the last two times.

I really can't give any actual explanation why I like them. Despite being rather 'meh' I really like their design, the rather dark and cold metallic theme combined with the bright neon green gauss.

Lol I like tau as well, but ork are my fav. The way they view fighting as a hobby instaed of something series is just funny.

Eldar, I collect them on the tabletop and I play them most On DoW II they are just so awesome (Froths at the mouth)

I've always like the eldar but the guard just have a special place in my heart. Yes the idea of throwing an entire squad of melta guns at the enemy is interesting, but the idea of throwing several thousend men, each bristling with enough muscle to punch out Hulk Hogan and each armed with the equivelant of an anti material rifle set to rapid fire just makes me... Warm and fuzzy inside. And if you don't believe me about the anti material rifle part, we know that both the lasgun and the autogun are strength 3 AP-. Now go look through your 4th edition rulebook for that nice page with a picture of all the guns on it and look at the size of an autogun slug... It's quite epic.

I dislike Chaos for the most part (Blood for the Blood God? Really? I never would have guessed), Eldar seem smug to me, the Tau piss me off with the whole "For the Greater Good" crap, Dark Eldar are kinda cool, but at the same time a bunch of over-rated pussies with serious fetishes/"Am'nt we cool" syndrome, Orks are alright but I just hate the thrown together nature of them as a species and the Tyrannids and Necrons bore me a bit, what with the whole "Kill/destroy repeat" thing. At least Chaos mixes it up with betrayal.

This is based entirely upon me studying the backstory, reading books and playing the video games. I never bothered/enjoyed table top.
