I'm roughly 15,000 right now. Usually I don't go out of my way to earn them, but the worst memory I have of such was striving for 100% completion on GTA4. My real issue was with trying to get all those horrible, glowing pidgeons. I rage whenever I hear one coo in a similar manner.
I dont own current gen consoles (I have a NES, SNES, Gamecube PS1 and an xbox) but my proudest achivement is Completing Mass Effect on Insanity with a fresh character.

I have 7210 gamerscore. The hardest achievements i have done are probably the Rock Band vocals, drums and guitar career on expert. I had to play the last songs a couple of times to not fail. But the achievement i am most proud of is probably completing the endless setlist on Rock Band 2 hard on drums. I had to play from 4pm-11pm.
P.S if there is anybody that is good at Rock Band 1 or 2 add me on Xbox Live Carrotydragon.

My Gamerscore is roughly 21900, my greatest achievement is rescueing every survivor in Dead Rising (I believe the achievement title is 'Saint') due to the fact that getting those retarded sons of bitches out of that god forsaken place was one hell of a challange.
In the 9000 region, and the hardest achievement I ever got was finishing Call of Duty 4 in Veteran mode.

Kinda took all the fun out of it

I may not have as high as most (12,563) But that's mainly because i don't go outta my way for acheivements...i mean, if i see one that seems more like a "fun challenge" then "time to go to work" i will, but i mostly am just playin' th'games to have a good time...if i'm not havin' fun anymore, not worth it...
ot: My favorite Achievement is one i just accomplished: The "Freeflow perfection" for Batman: Arkham Asylum...i still lack the silver, gold, and 40 hit freeflow ach.'s, but i now have renewed faith that i can pull those off now...as for the Silent Predators?
