Poll: What's your IQ

There are an awful lot of high IQs being generated here.

Considering that only about 2% of the population have an IQ of over 130 (at least according to MENSA), isn`t it strange that a lot of that 2% would end up on this website

Also, it is impossible for adults to have an IQ of over 160 (once again, according to MENSA)

Last time I did one I had an IQ of 131 and they sad I was as smart as Hillary Clinton or Madonna. I didn't consider that a compliment.

IQ simply shows how good you are at IQ tests.

Well put, IQ tests mostly measure Language skills and not intelligence, There is no test that can show you how intelligent you are.

I've gotten results varying from 135, 130, 147 and 132 on different tests. So lets get an average. Based on those 4 tests, I get an average of 136.

Yyyyeah... uh, I've taken Psychology courses in college and I know for a fact that online IQ quizzes are highly inaccurate compared to official IQ tests. I'm not even bothering with this.

This thread isn't too effective for modeling the Escapist's population. The online test is inaccurate, and only people with mental problems, mentally retarded people, and geniuses take them. Retards will be embarrassed to post, and generally people who appear to have mental problems are genius, creating a bell curve with above average - genius as the mean.

I got 139 in that test... That can't be right, I'm basically failing every subject I'm doing right now...

Because high school is essentially 80% worthless, if not higher. You are taught garbage you will never use and gradually forget over time, which is my qualm with the schooling curriculum.

B) Don't trust the link, and don't trust IQ Tests.

You shouldn't trust the link or the IQ test... After you complete the test it makes you type in a bunch of information which I did... or atleast Dr. Hugh Jardon did and won't let you pass until you give it permission to give your information to atleast one third party to make you eligible for one of there "Fabulous Deals." It was at this point that I left... I didn't care about the score any more... so i'm just going to guess my score.
