Can I combine 4 dreadnoughts from Eve, that massive thing from Freespace (2?), about 6 Protoss Carriers, and some of those warhammer ships? Crewed by the damned.

YES, never even occurred to me...

Besides that I'd go with a Destroyer class ship, namely the Nighthawk Deluxe (Proud Federal ship of the line from the Pardus MMO), atm I'm only in a Nighthawk though so no universe saving.

Option 5: Giant robot.
I'd go with that too, or an X-Wing (I've never really liked capital ships. I'm more of a fighter jockey than anything). Giant Robot Car would be awesome to cruise the galaxy in.

Though if I was to go with something from the poll, it would be a frigate (or an armed freighter like the Millennium Falcon)

Normandy SR-2/Millennium Flacon type ship.

Because I would rather run and live to insult and hamper you another day than to die gloriously with all the other NPC's.

One of these. Most of it's guns are larger than a planet and it can survive travelling thourgh the equivalent of hell.

Ho, you aren't fighting any reapers...

OT: one that's slow, but can wipe out a planet if need be, think the death star.
So you want a massive ship that can be easily destroyed by an un-armoured one man fighter?

I would personally Go for a Dyson sphere. The damn things have a living sun at their core.

Although I suppose moving it might be a problem.

Frigate-type ship.

The Normandy, the Millenium Falcon, the Ebon Hawk, the Outrider, the Slave I, the Firefly.

With examples such as those, how can I not pick the trusty frigate?

EDIT: I just remembered the Motherships from the Homeworld series. They are frickin' awesome too!

I've had the most fun piloting fighters or other small attack vessels. It makes battles seem all the more intense when you're just a fly in the poverbial ointment.

I've had the most impact flying enormous vessels. In Eve Online, my carrer terminated at the Carrier (The chimera if you care to know), but along the way participated in battles using everything from the Eve equivalent of a fighter (The interceptor or assault ship), to specialized stealth and electronic warfare vessels (The Falcon, Curse, and blackbird - all lightweight cruisers), to battleships fitted for close range slugging matches (Torpedo armed Raven) or longe ranged fleet encounters (Rokh armed with railguns or an Apocolypse if it seemed like a suicide mission) to well armed and highly mobive Heavy Assault Ships (The cerberus, zealot and Sacriledge). The most fun to be had in that particular game came at the helm of the ligher ships - once I actually needed the firepower of a battleship in PVP, you generally did a lot of sitting around waiting to explode while methodically cycling your guns. In my carrier it was so detached from the actual combat that all I did was assign my fighters elsewhere and dump shields and energy on others in an attempt to let them absorb perhaps another volley or two before exploding. In terms of impact, I could safely say that I never turned the tide in a battleship but I certainly had a significant impact in a capital ship. No system was ever won or lost through raiding alone - at some point you have to pull out the hammer and for that, I felt most at home behind in the carrier. At least until they changed the Doomsday Weapon and made it into a death ray that instantly killed carriers rather than instantly killing everying smaller than a carrier that was unlucky enough to be on the grid.

I see no option for The Heart of Gold...

Nice ride, doesn't beat mine though.

Beaten to the punch! Assuming the improbability of a spontaneously-appearing bowl of fruit punch is low enough to be considered by the Infinite Probability Drive...

Why one ship? Use X3:TC's method and build an entire space fleet, with supply lines and resource producing stations.

None of the choices apply to me.

I would build my own space ship in gmod and dominate in it >:D
