The socially awkward loner. Basically, I'm seen as the quiet type who needs to drink more (I rarely drink, mainly because I do mixed martial arts training and running and I don't want to undo any of my hard work by getting a beer belly). It's assumed that I pretty much have no life, so I make it a point to tell people at any given opportunity that I train in boxing/muay thai/Brazilian jiujitsu. Unfortunately, the only response that produces is nothing more than an "Oh, that's cool." So there's not much room for conversation there.

Often, people will say something to me while walking away, and when I respond, they don't hear me, or act as if they don't.

I'm a monkey, basically.

Although I don't have a tail ... yet.

Indie I guess. Likes English Indie bands, shops at Topman fairly frequently, yeah I guess that's about right. But I hang out with Geek/nerds at school because the only other options are, Bitches/sluts, jocks, assholes or uglies.

people just look at my black and purple hair and my ever-present studded collar and assume i'm a goth..

guess its the closest label to me... that or a mix between gamer geek/goth.

labels are stupid anyway, so i tend to steer clear of them...

I bet I'm one of the most unstereotypical persons out there.

Consider - this is a gaming website yet I have very litle time for games and don't enjoy a lot of the new ones anyway. I spend all of my time here in off-topic. I love classical music, a rarity amongst my generation and also love playing the piano. I'm also incredibly effiminate but not gay, meaning I enjoy wearing pink shirts, blowing the seeds off dandelions and have several stuffed toys around my unit and in my car. I also play sport, both basketball and netball and study medicine at uni. I don't fit any stereotype, I'm just who I am and I like who I am.

Indie/Geek. I've been a gamer for ages, but I've been a muse-o for 5 years (guitar) and love metal, rock, grunge, alt rock, experimental rock, and yes, indie, music. I also love girls who dress really out there, like goth/emo girls, especially the hair :D But any girl with an amazing personality attracts me really.

I guess it would be a combo:

Sort of a Gamer/Raver/Metalhead thingy.

There's some geek in there too....
but I hide that away nicely and save it for the interwebz. ;)

Manga geek. I love all things manga, and my belief is that no matter what, as long as I have manga I'll be fine. I'm a big Japan nerd in general; I always say "Itadakimasu" before eating; I don't say hello, I say "Konnichiwa"; after meals I say "Gochisosama-deshita", and I follow all other Japanese customs that you can apply to Swedish society.

I would say probably a metalhead because I play guitar and drums

but I don't listen to metal any more, I don't play that many video games except the odd match on Halo or song on Guitar Hero

Probably Indie because I don't fit in anything else. Except I don't wear Indie clothes or listen to "Indie" music

Possibly punk but I hate punk music and don't like generic punk clothes

So I have no idea

I'm personally a bit of a mixture between geek and indie. I like webcomics and computers, and gaming, and I intend to study an elective in computer programming. But I'm into indie and rock music and wear indie clothes, I have a distinct indie style about me. I prefer indie to dance music (unlike all but perhaps one of my housemates), and I'm attracted to indie (and goth, surprisingly) girls. I don't really have a problem with other subcultures, except chavs, but don't like the same stuff as them.
That's gotta be about 90% of people on here. Including me.
Except I prefer experimental music.
