Occasionally, sometimes it's useful... to know what to avoid saying/doing on here...
Luckily the mods on here seem really fair.

I certainly do, I want to know the details of why this person has come under mod wrath, might be useful to me in the future, in keeping as far from the banhammer as possible.
^ this
because any aid i can get in preventing modstomp is good.
and knowing why people get modstomped helps that.

I do it all the time!
Usually it's just boredom and curiosity, but sometimes I do it because of the slim chance I might get a laugh out of it.

Yeah, I find it very interesting. That's why I kinda thought it was counter-productive to hide the offensive post.

Clicking on it is like uncovering a little scandalous secret.

Also why when I was put on probation for a day I refrained from posting. It's the shame I tell you, how terrible it is!

I do, almost always. Gives me something to say 'yep, had it coming' or 'WHAT!? ARE THE MODS CRAZY!?' about.

Yeah, makes me curious. Plus, I take mental notes so I can avoid doing what s/he did. xD

Yeah, quite often. I like to see the certain offenses that people do. Like one person said suspend me til the 30th of June I think, and they got suspended way past that date. I thought it was funny.

Yeah, I'm a nosey person and I want to know what they did wrong so I can avoid making the same mistake.

Sometimes, but it depends if I see the person's comments in a lot of threads I go on or is well known I check to see why they were banned/suspended/etc.

I just got my first probation for creating a thread that was taking the piss out of another thread, but then my thread got taken seriously so it looked like I was a right simpleton.
The moral of the story? Rob Sharona isn't funny.

I do it just to see exactly what those silly, power-modding Moderators are up to. I often have no idea why, or can find no legitimate reason why the person was banned or suspended, only that they may have offended a certain moderator.
A lot of the people banned or suspended for their posts seem to be the victims of picky-choosy moderating. I read the posts and usually find nothing wrong with them - No violations of ToS or forum rules. From what I've seen, people are being banned or suspended for, in general, providing an honest opinion.

Not saying there aren't any douchebags out there or anything...

That is the most politically correct title I have ever seen.

I always do. It's like a little reminder of what not to say.
