I still think humans are not to far gone yet.

It make take something like mass death to make everyone value each other, but I think we can turn back.

shouldn't it say what MADE you lose faith in humanity?

anyway because of the media - "yes we have to put anything on for ratings even if its immoral and so unbelivable selfish, little timmy must show the world his disfigured face"

yea its a random example leave me be

The Idea of Humanity kind of lost itself to Me when I think that most people aren't acting like humans anymore but more like Robots who care about people they have never met and don't care about them (Celebrities) and force themselfs to a routine (since there isnt much option besides that)

I have only lost faith in the half of the U.S. that were okay with Sarah Palin becoming the President if Mcain had died (so basically the entire Western half of the U.S. minus California), all my classmates except the 5% who actually know anything about the world and actually know what is coming out of there mouthes, and anyone who believes in any religious text word for word.

- When a woman sued McDonald's for spilling hot coffee on herself because she attempted to hold the cup between her legs in a car, and won a seven figure judgment that was later overturned to low six figures or some such.
Right... Shall we get the story straight?
http://www.talkaboutcoffee.com/boiling_coffee_lawsuits.html is the link, but just for you I'll draw the main points out.

She did NOT get that money for attempting to hold the cup between her legs. MacDonalds gave her a cup of coffee that was 1) 5 degrees too hot and 2) the lid did not fit the cup (which IS a health and safety breach). She suffered burns that required skin grafts to fix, and she spent three weeks unable to walk, and THIS is what she got awarded the $2.9 million for. She originally was going to settle for $10,000, but McD's refused and so the judge upped the fine to the profits of McDonalds coffee for one day. She then settled for $89,000 in an out of court settlement.
So yeah... When did I lose my faith? Around the time when people began to leap to conclusions because "everyone knows it's true".
She apparently did according to the article I read some time ago. I am aware the lid was not the proper fit however still the idea of holding hot (not matter the degress) between your legs while in a car is generally a risky idea. The suing was more justified however the moment I lost faith is when she was initially awarded that $2.9 million because frankly it was only done to punish McDonald's and worst yet, it would start a huge outcry of lawsuits from other people.

I heared someone was driving an RV, put it in cruise control, and went to make some cofee. She crashed. And she won a lawsuit because the manual did not say "you cant get up and do stuff while in cruise control."
It's not auto pilot, *****!(SLAP!)XD
I heard about this and apparently they now put that in the manual.

When you made the worst thread title ever. Why cant people write a thread title that explains what the thread is about. I dunno, something like "when did you lose faith in humanity"

I haven't. About a year ago I was fortunate enough to meet the head of a cancer support group, whose sole purpose is to help cancer patients and their families. They make little to no money from this, but they still dedicate their lives to doing it. They simply do it for the lulz. They are the opposite of anonymous from 4chan.

Work in customer service for 15 years. If THAT doesn't kick your faith in humanity right in the ass, nothing will.
