I shower during the morning. To me, it makes no sense to shower at night before bed, unless you're about to have sex, because some nights you're likely to sweat during the night and be dirty the next morning.

And yet, since coming to Japan, I've found out they always shower during the night, and never in the morning, and consider me to be a bit strange for doing so.

So, just out of curiosity, when does everyone here shower?

When I did shower, I did it in the morning (I arely shower these days). It's such a refreshing feeling especially when you had just woken up.

Strictly every birthday.

Morning makes sense to me 'cos it wakes you up, shakes the groggy feeling off and gives you a fresh feeling for the day.

During the night you just sweat, so for the rest of the day you're just walking round like you just did a mile run until you shower again.

To the people that shower every morning: You're actually damaging your skin's resistance to whatever may come from the outside by doing so, you know... It is also a myth that you immediately start to stink if you don't shower for a day, even if you sweat a little. Heck, plenty of people like a more natural odour (not a sweaty odour!), rather than whatever scented shampoo you're using.

I fully shower once a week, and take about half an hour to do so. I quickly hop under about 2 times a week. In other words, I shower about every other day. But I always do it in the evening. After a shower I want to be able to relax for a bit, and let my hair dry, which takes a good hour or so. (I have long hair.) And I don't have time for that in the morning.

Whenever I've gone to the bathroom, so I don't feel filthy.

...yeah, I've got a problem.

I shower at night.

Mostly because I don't feel like taking all the collective grime that's built up on my body and take it into my nice clean sheets.

Nah not at all, I will take a quick rinse off if I go #2 and I am at home. Away from home baby wipes after using toilet paper.

I shower when I wake up, I work at night so thats usually early evening or late afternoon. I also shower when I get home before bed as I work in a medical lab and well even though I wear a labcoat and gloves I still detest feeling like I am contaminated. Showering before bed not only relaxes me but I don't like going to bed feeling dirty and making the sheets dirtier than my body oils and dead skin will already make it. Since I sleep when humans should be awake a hot shower helps me to sleep better I found. And of course if there is going to be any sexy time I shower before hand. I get weirded out by thinking I might smell bad when I am about to get up close and personal with someone.

I jump in the shower pretty much every morning. It is sort of one way of helping me wake up, along with a good breakfast and a Monster. However, I only take a good shower at most every other day. Most days it is just getting under the water for a couple minutes.

I shower as a way to start my day. If I need it, then I'll also shower at night.

I enjoy showers, so if not for the water cost, I'm happy to take two a day.

I try to take a shit before I shower too, I allways feel dirty after I take a shit for some reason, Don't look at me like that.

Whenever I feel like it.
Sometimes multiple days without, sometimes multiple times a day.

Whenever I feel like it. Haha.

Morning before I head off to college. I'm just too lazy after being at college for 5 hours and just want to come home, take off my pants, throw on some gym shorts, and get comfy with my bed.

I used to shower at night when I was in high school, but now my earliest class is 12:30 so, it's amazing to go to bed at two and still be able to attend school with some amount of energy.

I'm gonna stand ... Over there .

OT: I shower every morning. Then i douse myself in pleasant fragrances . Nothing i hate more that a person that smells . Smelling bad is one of my biggest fears . I will occasionally shower at night if i had a long and hard day .

Around lunchtime for me. I work on a farm, so it is pointless to shower in the morning, then go muck out stalls and ride horses, you'll just get dirty again. So I shower when the hard, dirty work is done.

Every second to third morning I'll take a good, long shower. I used to shower at night, but I've since learned to value how nice a morning shower is. It's slightly more practical too, as it makes you clean for the rest of the day.

After I get home from work. Then I lay out my clothes for the next day and then go back downstairs, have supper (or have already eaten, I shower between 5-7 usually), and relax until bedtime. Then I wake up at 7am, pull on my clothes, do my hair and makeup, and am on the way to work by 7:25 for my 8am start. I'd like to shower in the morning, but it's just not feasable - I find getting up before 7 leaves me wonky.

Shower every morning. Not being smelly is important to me. I'd rather be late than smelly.

Also, I wear my hair in a fauxhawk, so I need a wet head to style it.

I don't sweat at night? Why would I sweat at night?

OP: Night.
