Rarely buy music physically anymore, Spotify has kept me busy for the last 3 years.
Most of my games are bought online, mostly through Steam, but also some through Amazon.
Buuuuttt, I've just started buying BluRays, and those that I've bought so far have all been from a physical shop, so I guess that's good then.

I think I'm one of the few people left in the world who ONLY buys physical copies of things... I never took to digital copies cause they're so unreliable / easily lost. Plus, if I'm spending money on something I want to be able to hold it in my hand an appreciate it, It also ties into my stoic stance against media piracy; that being the one particular crime which is most likely to cause me poverty in the future. Art is art and theft is theft; only the ignorant and the foolish steal art, for to steal from an artist is to rob the world of art itself.

Last three months? Pfft. Try today.

I fucking hate digital distribution, and avoid it whenever possible.

In a film collection of over 400 titles, all of them are physical copies (ditto for TV series). In a music library that amounts to roughly 15 days straight worth of listening (with no repeats), everything came from physical copies. In a video game library that I stopped keeping track of about five years ago and was already upwards of 300 titles, the vast majority of it is made up of physical copies (the only exceptions being things I picked up during Steam sales, which amounts to maybe 15 to 20 games - all of which I would have preferred buying physical copies of if only they were easier to acquire).

EDIT:
Seeing as how I neglected to address the specific question, yes, I buy nearly everything in person. There are a few titles that I've had to order online and have shipped to me, primarily video games that were on the older side and difficult to find in stores.

I'm lucky enough to live pretty close to an assortment of small mom and pop style media stores. I mostly frequent a place called "Bullmoose Music" however. They're a really small chain of media stores in the New England area of the United States. They typically have lower prices than all of the competition, they have a pretty diverse selection, and it's incredibly easy to special order things that they don't have in stock (and it's at no extra charge). On top of that, they have a membership program where you earn points when you buy things that can be redeemed for discounts on other items (or pool up so that you can get free things - I actually got both Band of Brothers and The Pacific on Blu-Ray for free using my points).

The last time I tried to buy something in a physical copy was Cube, for a writing class.
Did you ever end up finding a copy? I rather enjoyed that movie. It has its flaws for sure, but still pretty entertaining for what it was. It's a shame that so few people seem to be aware of it. It's also kind of a shame that the prequel and sequel exist.

I just got my copy of a purchased CD in the mail yesterday, with another expected soon. I absolutely refuse to spend money on digital files, so when I purchase albums and games, I get the physical copies. I like the whole package ya know? The artwork, lyrical booklet, pictures, the CD itself, digipak if it has it. Besides, it's lovely to look up at the shelf and see stacks of CDs up on there, as a sort of collection. Same with games and books. Not much of a film fan, so I can't comment on that.

I just bought the Alien Anthology on Blu-Ray last week. All 4 movies (both theatrical and special editions)for $30. How could I pass that up? I did feel a bit dirty though as I got it from Wal-Mart. I'm not sure when the last time I set foot into one was.

Not sure when the last I bought a CD. It's probably been several years.
That's a good price for the Anthology. Not to sound like I'm bragging, but I got it for cheaper from the UK! It's weird, right? I had Amazon Prime, live in the states, but still got free shipping. It had 'Royal Mail' stamped on the box, it was so cool.

I'm so happy I bought it. Finally got the backstory on Alien 3 via the commentary. I suspect Fincher wasn't pleased; he was nowhere to be found in the commentary.

I always buy physical copies where possible, and I almost always go to HMV in person to do so. I enjoy walking around the store and killing an hour or so browsing, plus I'm a traditionalist when it comes to my music and films and games. End of the day, what happens if something happens to my Steam account or my iTunes account, and I lose everything I've bought through them? Even though I do have those accounts, and have bought stuff with them, I still prefer physical. At least then I always have the original CD or whatever to back up my PC-burned digital versions...

It was his first big-budget movie. He's mentioned in interviews since then whenever asked about Alien 3 that in retrospect he would have made it a "Directed By Alan Smithee" film if he'd known about the practice at the time.

CDs? No. I don't really listen to music.
DVDs though? Yesterday. We buy DVDs all the time in our family. it's got to the point where every available bookcase and shelf is dominated by them, yet still we have to make weekly trips to CEX to trade in the ones we don't like/watch. It's kind of ridiculous.

I bought about 30 DVDs just today. I guess I'm a collector.

Having a digital copy just doesn't feel right; I don't feel like I own the complete product by downloading it. I like having a physical copy of it.

What I wish I had was more space in my apartment.

Last week actually, I saw a movie that I didn't get to see in theaters actually let's say didn't want to to avoid the 3D gimmick, but I wish I hadn't because it was a terrible movie anyway. >.<

I won't touch on the restored plot for the sake of spoilers, but Fincher's version made so much more sense. In retrospect I feel guilty for getting it sent all the way from the UK. Time from ordering to receipt took 11 days. That's almost as fast as some Amazon local resellers.

In regards to the thread, I will always, always buy a movie on disc. I gotta have commentaries.

Yesterday. It's pretty difficult to get good foreign films, especially foreign-language films, unless you shop around, and that usually means importing a region 2 DVD.

I'm kind of an obsessive Alien fanboy, so I've actually read most of the alternate stories for Alien 3 (all of the ones that still exist, anyway; many were either scrapped or adapted into other movies, like Pitch Black - seriously, Pitch Black was an altered Alien 3 screenplay).

And I'm inclined to agree with you. The vast majority of Alien 3's many variations were a complete mess. Some of them were decent, some of them were almost unreadable. The Fincher version was one of the decent ones. Admittedly though, the ones I tended to like best were the ones where Corporal Hicks and Rebecca Jordan were the main characters and Ripley was the one who had died in the EEV crash (they were written that way because Sigourney Weaver hadn't signed on to be in the movie yet, and they didn't think they were going to get her to return).

Even though I didn't get Alien 3 starring Michael Biehn and Carrie Henn (though she likely would have been replaced by a different actress, since Alien 3 is supposed to take place at most a few weeks after the end of Aliens, and Carrie Henn had grown up quite a bit during the years between filming), at least I got the Aliens: Earth Hive, Aliens: Nightmare Asylum, and Aliens: Female War comic series (and later novel adaptations) which continued the Aliens story with Hicks and Newt (who later got renamed Corporal Wilks and Billie for... reasons) as the lead characters.

Errrr, I think the last one I bought was Ensiferum - From Afar earlier this year. I've put a hold on buying things until I can get some money coming in, but there's a few films I'd quite like to pick up when I do.
