I know Playstation recieves some game from Xbox but this is getting to be ridiculous. Xbox has taken GTA, Guitar Hero, Devil May Cry,Resident Evil and recently has taken A very well know title that has always stuck with the PS company, Metal Gear. If u are just as outraged please stop supporting bandwagon coporate systems like the 360, because if more focus is on the other systems more better quality games come along the way. In this year xbox has failed to come up with decent exclusive games Ex.(Halo Wars) and PS is creating more high quality titles in for the fact that people are coming to the realization that they like having a full package system that never breaks compared to the cheap ass system the is unoriginal. If im the only one whose thought process this way let me know.

Fanboi flame bait is luke warm at best.

Seriously if the Ps3 wants to protect it's "Exclusive games" They need to market them better or perhaps lower the price on the Ps3 entirely.

Breaking News! Game company attempts to beat out competition, who is not so secretly in the toilet financially.

Sony is in trouble. They're too stubborn to lower the price of the PS3 (which is the only way they can improve sales). So they have no money to keep things exclusive. It isn't Microsoft's fault, they're doing what any smart business would do.

Here's a hint Sony: If your system is only marginally better at best, and has less exclusives and a crappier online service, you can't sell it for double the price.

Aren't the PS3 and Wii also "corporate systems" like the 360?

So you're basically saying lets stop supporting all the major systems and instead support the independent, non-corporate, 'mom & pop store' console manufactures like.....?

They make games, we buy them, they make money, we have fun. I don't care if Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo are corporate systems. When they stop producing games or replace every new game with text-based games then I'll stop supporting.

Um..... okay? I think it is ironic how the PS was major and all better then the xbox and now this guy states "If u are just as outraged please stop supporting bandwagon coporate systems like the 360,"

Is it just me or is that a little......strange?

I'm not at all against third party developers producing games for multiple platforms in order to optimize their profits. That said, does Sony not have games on their systems that were originally Microsoft exclusives? I fail to see the problem here.

Sony are JUST as guilty of the whole "buying their way into exclusivity" tactics. They did themselves no favours in the popularity stakes by getting Ghostbusters to be a Playstation only release for Europe/PAL regions. Alright, so the North American 360 version isn't region locked, but how many in Europe are going to want to bother to go the trouble of importing it?

Your missing an option for the poll "I don't give a damn if they are". Also what microsoft is doing is just good buisness practice. There providing the same product that can be played on something that costs less. I can understand your anger, however I think you should focus your anger at sony for not being more competitive.

Metal Gear, Final Fantasy and Grand Theft Auto did not start on the PS. Your topic is flawed, over done, and fanboy blind ranting.
No matter how many times you tell a PS fanboy this, to them it is always negated with "But PLAYSTATION made it BETTER, hurr!"

And for those not on track, GTA originated on PC, Metal Gear on NES (and some other Japanese system), and Final Fantasy on (dun dunah dahh) NES.

A monopoly according to the dictionary is: exclusive control of a commodity or service in a particular market, or a control that makes possible the manipulation of prices.

So in a weird way all exclusives would create monopolies and all 3 systems would be guilty. I'm just saying

At the risk of being shot...

I've seen PS as almost "3rd party" as there have been few exclusives that makes you actually want to pay the above average prices for the console and games. with the PS3's game list made up mainly of games available to both 360 and Ps3 along with some titles available to the Wii aswell.

For example, most of my friends on the whole play exclusive titles to the 360. Likewise with the Wii. I am by no means saying the PS3 is a bad console, I am just suggesting that Sony haven't done things "properly", with releasing the PS3 with an eye-watering price tag getting it set in the public eye as an expensive piece of kit virtually equal to the 360 in many respects.

If I'm honest the only title's I've actually missed from not having the PS3 are Ratchet and Clank and MGS, those aren't exactly worth getting one for. And those tuned into E3 will know that for me it will soon be just 1 of those titles I will need to miss.

And as for the whole "The PS3 has eVeRyThInG" argument, I don't want something that has a billion other uses, I want a games console. It's like getting a swiss army knife just for the toothpick.

So to summarise, Sony simply just havn't made things worthwhile for potential customers, so Microsoft are scooping up those titles that people miss, is there something wrong with that? "Monopolising" it may be but gaming is all about enjoyment, so aren't Microsoft giving more people enjoyment?
