Mine are starting to form, but seeing as my molars are kind of buggered... they'll probably just replace those and I'll be fine.

That was apparently the point of the things, actually, to replace our teeth when they broke.
Of course, modern humans don't eat stones and meat at the same time now, so, they're less useful.

I have three already grown out and the fourth one is coming along nicely. Say if all of my wisdom tooth have already grown out will they cause problems later on in life?

All 4 of em were removed. To date the only time someone with a medical background put me down and cut me open.

As for the pain factor, I couldn't eat anything but soup for the next 3 day's.
Not due to actual pain, more because I simply couldn't open my freaking jaw.

I'm getting all 4 of mine taken out day after tomorrow. This thread is making me scared :(. Someone lie to me and tell me it will be all puppies and sunshine.

I don't know if I have them. I had my canines removed from my baby teeth though. All four of them.

It's actually quite easy, go in and get put under (that's how mine was done and most in current days I think), wake up, given vicodine for pain. That's it. You will feel some pain for a day or two, you will have puffy cheeks for 2-3 days and your jaw won't be able to fully open for 5-7 days, so say goodbye to pizza (or if you're a vegetarian apples :p).

Also, there will be puppies... but no sunshine. MWAHAHAHA

I feel like a freak now.
I have 6 wisdom teeth that are fine, and another one coming through. I'll also presume that I'll have another one to complete the second set as well.

I had all 4 of my teeth removed at the same time, and I am being completely honest here, it was a breeze. They gave me some laughing gas and I fell asleep, when I woke up my wisdom teeth were in a nice little container.
They gave me some vicodin to take home in case I was in pain.
I never touched it, at least for pain purposes.
At worst my jaw was a little sore.
I was back to eating solid food in 2 days.

Wherever they are i hope they are Happy.. sometimes i picture them relaxing on a beach in the Bahamas drinking pina coladas .. either that or they were incinerated at the hospital when i had them removed

I got all four of mine taken out a year ago. Apparently, when I woke up after the surgery, I was ridiculously coherent, read through the post-surgery instructions, and talked to my mom the entire way home. ...I don't remember any of it.

The best part about getting them taken out was the massive amounts of pudding and ice cream I ate for the next few days.

I haven't, but my older brothers have. I remember my mom telling me how they were out of it from the Novocaine.

I can't imagine what this kid will do when he gets his wisdom teeth out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txqiwrbYGrs

All removed. The first three were taken out between my ages of 20-22, as they were very likely to cause problems later on. A year ago the last one was taken out, as it caused an infection. Before that it had been growing fairly normally and straight and caused no problems at all.

Two of them needed a bit of surgery, but with localized anesthetic it was pretty easily over. Honestly, I don't understand grown-ups who demand to be put under during wisdom-teeth removal of all things. It's not like it's unbearable or anything, or even particularly painful for more than a few minutes during the operation. It's the following few days that are painful.

Never had any. Weirdly enough, I'm also short a molar on one side... they did x-rays to make sure it wasn't growing into my brain or something, but it never turned up.

Yea and I still think you're a lucky bastered for it too. I have to have my Vicodin refilled because I was still in pain after I ran out. It was then I got sick of pudding and all soft foods.
All four of mine are in a bio hazard dump somewhere because the doctor wouldn't let me keep them. Le sigh. Anyway Hurray Forums it's not that bad really. Just no sucking for a week and hope you like Jello.

my wisdom teeth are broken because I can't brush them properly - they grew in almost sideways so I couldn't get half of them cleaned

they need to be removed, but I never think about it until I eat something like chocolate and it gets on the exposed nerve

that hurts.... and it's why I normally don't eat chocolate unless it's frozen
