Have fun.

(For those who have trouble remembering the details: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0435761/synopsis )

[Oh god, I've just realised that Tom Hanks was in three of those films in the other thread...that man is some kind of Emotional Wizard]

I didn't. Why isn't that an option? :S I mean, sure I was moved at some scenes, but I never cried, or even came close to crying.

Yeah, I'm with this guy. It had its moments, but none of them were that moving for me.

He assumes everyone will be moved to tears by the movie. I'm in the same boat as you are, so I'm just not voting.

Well I was rather teary at the incinerator scene, but I didn't shed any actual tears. I'd count that though. Only Mufasa's death in the Lion King gives me that same emotional response.

I didn't cry either. If you're gonna have a poll at least have different types of options. Also, why would anyone cry at "The Loss of Bo-Peep"? Wasn't she just mentioned in passing?

I got misty at the incinerator scene, when they accept death and face it together. Powerful stuff. Never actually cried though.

The only film (animooted or otherwise) that has actually made me cry was Grave of the Fireflies.

I didn't cry for I am a cold emotionless robot (jk). Well I'm not saying there nothing wrong about crying for a film but I just don't get emotional to the point of crying when it come to films.

He's a comedian, they can always pick the best scripts.

On topic:

The very literal (and really quite scary) descent into Hell in the junkyard had me well and truly welling up. I think if the film had ended there I would have cried like a baby.

Luckily, LGMS!

The incinerator scene was intensely emotional, but I felt as much sadness as surprise and dread, so it didn't really mame me cry. The ending, on the other hand, as Andy was saying goodbye to Woody... oh, the tears. Incredible movie.

EDIT: Also, was I the only one who got chills at the beginning as the old footage of Andy as a kid started distorting and fading out and the song left on "our friendship will never die"? That was an ominously impacting opening if I've ever seen one.

EDIT #2: All of you saying you never cry in anything, watch Clannad. I don't care how hardcore you think you are, that show will break you down. You will cry in it, you will cry after it, you will cry when you hear its soundtrack, and you will cry more often in movies and shows you watch and games you play after it. It will break you. Watch it.

I didn't cry but "Andy's Last Playtime" made me feel a little bit of emotion which is a strange feeling that rarely ever happens.

Never cried during it, really should be an option. Yes there were some emotional scenes, but none that were tear-worthy to me.

The last playtime.

Nothing before was particularly sad, but the ending.....

It was the beginning of the sobs... but I was in a movie theater, so I manned the fuck up and cried Native American style. Single tear. Drip. Yeah it made a sound effect when it hit the floor, because it was a heavy tear.

Good Point, I'll put it in...but why the need to come onto the thread if it didn't affect you?

This is the follow-up thread because Toy STory was apparently voted more Tear-jerking than Grave of the Fireflies (it is on my list for a film to see within the month though).

I cried at both the Incinerator Scene and Andy's last play time. When I went to the movie I thought it would be a good idea to bring one of my favorite toys with me go i got a stuffed cat named Silver. And when all the bad shit went down I was holding onto that cat like there was no tomorrow.

I didn't come close to tears in Toy Story 3, and other films as games have moved me far more. It was a great film, but I never understood why the press treated it as the most profound and heartbreaking thing ever created.
