The song isn't half bad. It's just the video with the random explosions and nasty adobe movie creator effects comes off as a parody.Chapper said:

Jonathon Coulton WROTE it....its his song whether he owns it or not. Valve owns it because they payed Coulton to write it for them. Its still his work.

I thought i would tell ppl that i dont like it when ppl give credit to portal for the songs existence when they didnt actually contribute to the songs creation, so they would know how i feel on the subject and that i like that version of still alive, but i wouldnt say portal "still alive". Its written by Jonathon Coulton. The Poll did ask to specify any other option not given in the poll.....so i did so and YOU have a problem with it. Thats not opinion, thats just trolling; yet your now trying to claim that was an option not included on the poll? The poll asked if you preferred the Portal version or the Mirrors Edge version; I'm sorry if the idea a song could be attached to the video-game its in is too complicated for you to understand, then again maybe your just seeking attention by making a gigantic deal out of nothing...this entire argument was pointless because your original point was laughable.

My original post said, "I hate how everyone gives the game Portal credit for the song "Still Alive"."
Thats my opinion that portal gets too much credit for the song. And respectively that Coulton doesnt get enough.
My choice would be that Jonathon Coulton's song was the best "Still Alive" song...which was not an option on the poll, but the poll did say "Other Still alive reference(Please post what)"
just because u must automatically connect a song to where u first heard it, doesnt mean that i do. And I'm not making a big deal out of anything. Its the internet dude get over it.
